Aberration sounds like collaboration, which is unfortunate, because I can only hear it in my head in the voice of the book from It Takes Two.

As an enjoyer of FFXIV, I've seen 'gaol' so frequently that Gaoler never sounded like anything but 'jailer' to me.

I pronounce it the correct way /j
