Woodland Path is really good for currency gathering since high level dragons just blow through the battles. So even a low drop rate doesn't matter too much. If a festival item has a 10% drop rate, then that's one out of every ten battles. With full team of level 25 dragons, you are getting through those ten battles in just seconds.
Higher levels do tend to have 'better' drop rates, but the battles take longer.

i switch back and forth between woodland path and ghostlight ruins. probably just my monkey brain placebo-effecting me, but it definitely feels better and more motivating to me to get drops every third battle or so than every 10 battles, even if the 10 battles in woodland path take a shorter time. if my luck seems to be on a downtrend i'll switch venues. keeps things a bit fresher for me since my brain does NOT like repetitive tasks for too long.
