[b]The upper wings on all should have the hypnotic pattern applied to them.[/b] [/LIST][/quote] These updates were just added to the 'to be fixed' list a little while ago in the boa gene bug thread, so the change hasn't happened as of this post but it is on the horizon. I do wonder if staff has actually seen the suggestions thread about paisley's change and that's where they're suddenly noticing this newest round of "bugs" or if they're somehow oblivious to it all. The silence is aggravating. Either way I'm not looking forward to breakup lines being removed from the upper portion of their wings, it's a nice touch and consistent with SD wings having stripes on the feathers. ------------ You know, this just shows that the bug notes don't even prepare the userbase for the changes. I'm pretty sure you could read the note as either meaning there should only be stripes in the crest aka no breakup pattern on the crest, and that a little bit of breakup will be applied to the very top of the wing and keep the stripes (like the SD version) or that there should only be stripes in the crest aka the stripes in the wings will be removed and the breakup pattern added to the upper wings (like the paisley change). Confusing. I'm saving scry's to my computer for comparison now either way lol. Auroboa wing definition is is already wack with the front wings not counting as secondary, I, however, will always welcome updates to genes to make the. More consistent.

Honestly if this was a trolly lead-up to gene variations that would be very funny.

There are a ton of secondaries on Auraboas that treat the top part of the wing as "mane" or at least visually different from the lower one. Including Affection, which released last week. Getting popcorn ready to see if they want to change all of those, as well.

Looks like I'll have to scry my Auras as different breeds now, as there is no way to tell what they might look like in a few weeks.

@astrojelly The change hasn't gone in yet, it just got put on the 'to do list' for the error thread, but it sounds like they're going to be taking the stripes in the wing and replacing it with the geometric pattern so that only the crest has stripes Edit: You know, this just shows that the bug reports don't even prepare the userbase for the changes because I think you could also read the note as meaning the breakup pattern will be removed from the upper crest and replaced with stripes and then maybe the stripes stay on the upper portion and a little of the breakup pattern is put on the very top of the wing like the SD version?
