The tertiary genetic position is either take by runes or okapi and must be grapefruit. Exceptions to these rules exist of course. There are many different varieties of Troll, including Runic Trolls, who have Runes, Okapied Trolls who have Okapi, Hemorank Trolls whose wings sport their Hemorank on the Hemospectrum instead of a shiny black, Pyralspites who resemble the titular draconic Lusus, and Honorary Trolls who exhibit all the habits of a Troll and have blood of different colors but do not exhibit physical traits like grapefruit horns and grey bodies. Eyes are a different matter altogether. Most Trolls have yellow scelera and irises that fill out with their blood color over time. Some Trolls have their entire eye fill with their blood color, or have their eyes change color due to new unspeakable powers. Ones with white eyes are known as Dream Bubble Drifters and they are known to enter dreams and speak with the dead- and in rare cases, are dead themselves. Some trolls give themselves titles around eight characters long, but this is not always the case. Even with online usernames they tend to be specific, although in recent sweeps many tend to use whatever naming conventions they like as the culture has shifted. Usernames tend to have two components, though- two words without spaces, most beginning with G C A or T. The second word is typically capitalized. If a Troll goes Unnamed, and has been recorded in the service of a local deity, it is likely they perished as a grub- or the Trolls' language for hatchlings. Many named Trolls also choose to serve deities, though, and for some it is an honor to do battle for a deity as a coming of age ritual. Their preference in clothing is all black, usually with the accented colors of something called a 'hemorank'- a color befitting their flight alliance or blood color. They claim to have different colored blood which affects the abilities they have- a strange and fascinating difference from other dragons that is affected by their flight alliance most often. Many also carry weapons, as they can be quite combatative. They all subscribe to a type of romance which can be sorted into quadrants. Best friends are moirails, mates are matesprits, rival mates are kismesis, and those who auspice between two rivals are called auspistices. They all like to pester and troll each other as well as others not from their subgroup. They are prone to dangerous situations and speak with voice quirks if they can- and proudly tote it in their writing. Many of them are also raised by their familiars as it is not customary for parents to raise their young.
