Dragon/OC/etc: Arete
Lore/theme outline: Arete is a hybrid dragon (check bio) who hatched on the border of lightning/water territory. His hatching was aided by a kind water (element) dragon, but shortly after he emerged from his egg, the water dragon noticed two dragons approaching her. She takes flight with the newborn in her arms and makes her way toward the tsunami flats. One of the attackers flies into her, and she drops the hatchling. He falls into a pool at the tsunami flats and begins to sink. The water dragon has no choice but to flee.
Arete clambered out of the pool, alone. He has developed a lifelong trauma from this and is very scared of the water, thus he prefers dry and barren locations.
