Hello, I'd love to adopt ColdBlueSteel and Leth! Here's the lore I've written for them:

Leth:

Leth was hatched and raised in the illustrious floating isles of the Eastern Skylands. There, he learned what it meant to be free, feeling the glacial winds sweep down from the Icelands to the west. His feathers contrasted greatly with the craggy cliffs of his home, making hunting more difficult, but with the help of his tribe he learned to make what could have been a hinderence into a boon.

When Leth heard of the strange creatures that had landed on the shores of the Stormy Isles, he set off from home to investigate. He crossed through the easternmost part of the Northern Mountains, fascinated by the dark, ancient pines that grew there and the thick carpets of moss that promised the best nap he'd ever have, but he pressed on. He flew over the Volcanic Wastes, fascinated by the lava fields and the barren expanse of the territory. Most surprising, however, was the dragon he saw hiding among the jagged rocks, hoping to remain unseen.

When Leth crossed into the Grasslands, he stopped to rest and refuel, chasing down a deer and visiting a watering hole. He did not, however, notice Toventyr skulking in the tall grasses. He'd heard stories of this dragon when he was a hatchling, but with the passage of time and the crowding of worries in his mind, the stories had faded from memory. They snapped right back to the front of his mind, however, when Toventyr attacked him.

It was a vicious fight and though Leth escaped, it was by the skin of his teeth and he was gravely injured. He managed to flee into the Western Forests, grateful that Toventyr stopped persuing him only once he had flown into the treeline. He crashed and landed in a heap, where he lay dying until he was found by a ColdBlueSteel--Steel for short.
Steel healed and fed him, but she wasn't terribly kind about it. She was bossy and firm with him, and more than once called him a feather-brained rabbit for daring to step foot in Toventyr's territory, but she seemed to warm up to him once he was no longer on Death's door.

It took a month for Leth to feel strong enough to leave, and in that time he learned more about the humans that had come to this land. More than that though, he learned about Steel. He learned that she loved to watch the storms whip the ocean into a frenzy and feel the spray from waves that broke over the Stormy Isles. But most importantly, he learned that he loved her...and she did not love him.

ColdBlueSteel:

ColdBlueSteel--or Steel as she preferred to be called--was born and raised in the Riverlands, but she spent most of her life on shoreline watching the black dragons with jagged lightning-like markings on their scales play in the dark, heavy stormclouds for which the territory was named. She had always wanted to be like them, daring and brave, throwing caution to the wind and the shedding the petty concerns of her small tribe. Instead, she was stuck as the healer for her tribe, an apprentice who had lost her mentor far too soon.

Steel had struggled in her role for far too long, grinding away the gentleness of her youth like sand smoothing the edges of sea glass. Her inexperience led to tragedy after tragedy, her tribe had all but lost hope in her, until she stopped letting her patients dictate the decisions she made. She rejected the bedside manner her mentor had tried to instill in her, opting instead to pull away emotionally from her patients so she could look at them clinically rather than from the perspective of a friend, a family member, a daughter...

While out collecting herbs, she found a half-dead feathered dragon, the likes of which she'd never seen but had heard of. She knew he was a long way from home and when she stopped the bleeding and got him conscious enough to speak, she could tell he was going to get on her nerves.
She did her duty and healed him, even brought him back to her tribe so he would be fed and watered and hopefully more comfortable. She tried to keep her distance from him, and her duties gave her some excuse to avoid him, but she couldn't stay away forever. His wounds actually required her attention, becoming infected and nearly septic. By the time he was on the mend, they'd become something like friends. It wasn't something Steel had invited or even wanted, and yet she couldn't help the feelings that stirred in her chest when she caught him staring at her from across camp and pretending he wasn't.

After a moment of closeness that she hadn't been prepared for, Steel set a boundary that she did not want to maintain, but couldn't allow herself to cross.
