Looking at Pufferfish on Undertides earlier made me think about the dewlaps I see on anoles. I think those could look nice on banescales, sandsurges, and undertides

Ancient gene: Duplicate
Aberrations

Spent too much time in the plague soup. Now there's extra bitsies. More appendages equals more strength!? Yes please.

So we have a double-headed dragon- let's give it some more duplicates. I'm mainly thinking that we could add in some extra wings (like spirals have extra webbing on their limbs). Extra forelegs would be neat, but difficult to work that tert in with other gene patterns.

So proto-wings on abberations? Not like gliders on banescales. There would be far more throughout the body.

I'd love a gene that added a kind of VHS static effect to a dragon. It could be an all-over thing like Stained/Soap or it could be relegated to different parts of the dragon's body, like an underbelly gene.

I love the idea of glowing tails on the Aethers, but the current gene Glowtail just doesn't do it for me. It takes up the whole tail, which feels really weird when there's a nice little bulb at the end that would be perfect for those little glowy tips on the end of an actual glowworm. A tertiary that only covers a tiny spot would be boring, though, so I decided to take a play from the real-life glow-worm's playbook and include the glowing bars some species have across their bodies! This time, on a gened model, with some edits from comments I've gotten. I also made one against a solid-color background to show how the glow effect might look against a background (similar to how firefly uses transparency to make a glow effect, the same thing is in place here) Figured now was a good time to bring it back up because of the announcement about fest genes. I think Glowbug would make a great Light flight gene!
I LOVE this full support

How about vines? Their coloring would work like blossoms and braches. Their could be drawn like thundercrack too, being all over the dragon. (Hope that makes sense)

I know it's a bug, but the colouration error of F Abby firebreather looks amazing and I'd love to see a gene that mimics this kinda effect with the wild colours. Maybe something called Glow, Heartbeat or Spectral?
