Oh boy have we got some D&D dragons!
Since we're a plural system we have a handful of fictional characters bouncing around in our head, Strahd von Zarovich is one of them, and we've got a project to make dragons for all of our headmates on the site. So we did!
(He's actually a super chill guy)
And for the fun of it, we kept around the parents for the breeding project after we finished and made them look like Barov and Ravenovia. We also kept the other two dragons who hatched in the same nest as Strahd and named them Sturm* and Sergei, but they're a lot simpler since we don't really have any designs for them, so I won't share them here for the sake of space. They're less fandergs and more meant to just complete the set, just for fun.
*If you have no idea who that is, don't worry, 5e completely forgot about him. He's Strahd and Sergei's other brother who lived a completely normal and drama-free life.
And, sticking with Barovia for one more dragon, my beloved Barovian bard PC, Anastasia. Her Hero Forge model is in her bio. We hatched her from one of the free aether eggs, and her colors looked so much like her that we had to keep her!
We picked up this very old guardian one day who reminded us of Fraz-Urb'luu, and regened him. He's pretty neat looking. Guardian ended up being a great breed for him, so we didn't even have to buy a change.
And one day, we found a snapper on the AH whose color scheme reminded us of the Duergar city, Gracklstugh. We tend to do fandragons based on characters rather than locations, but discovered that a location-based fanderg is really fun to make since you need to be creative with representing it!
The bio has exerpts and information taken from Out of the Abyss, but has no plot spoilers.
We're also working on a fandragon of Themberchaud, but we're waiting for a shadow dominance win (probably won't happen till next Trickmurk, haha) to grab the breed change and genes.
