The tops of the castle points as spears, up towards the clouds. Most of the time the tips can't be seen from the ground below. Within this foreboding castle sits a young king by the name of King Theus, but what is such a young king doing sitting on the throne? Only but some weeks ago, the frozen fortress was attacked by a Beastclan, and nobody saw it coming. Both king and queen fell at their hands, and most of the high-born subjects. The young prince soon found himself sitting on a throne with a broken kingdom to mend, and subjects to protect. Theus managed to survive, securing his family's reign, along with his best friend Ziva and one high-born subject, Mekhar. As the months pressed on, the three did their best to continue to fortify the castle and their lands. Ziva and King Theon grew closer than ever through these trials, and Mekhar proved to be a wise advisor. Theus had been discussing a matter with Mekhar when he caught sight of the two entering. Eyes widening, he practically jumped from this throne. "[b]Ziva...who is this?[/b]" The large Imperial looked down at her son, nervous, but also proud. "T[b]his, is your son...Leynth[/b]" Cautiously she looked back to her king. "[b]I didn't want to tell you until they hatched...two didn't make it.[/b]" Theus was overcome with joy, moving to her and his heir. "[b]And you, are my Queen.[/b]" Embracing her, he looked down at little Leynth, and lovingly embraced him as well. With the fear of another attack, they wanted to ensure the castle was adequately defended. Until they could find more subjects to ensure matters were taken care of, a lot of these duties fell on the three high-borns left. You're going to freeze out here...[/b]" The young Pearlcatcher peered up at the Spiral with doey and swollen eyes. ".[b]..they disappeared after the attack. I've been hiding here until they return.[/b]" Mekhar's eyes went soft, he knew the young childs parents would never return. "[b]I see...well, why don't you come stay with us. Until they do return!
