Aw, such a cute Jangmo-o; the little noise had garnered her attention again, and she barely paid attention to the two men as they conversed-- not until Milo had gestured towards his truck. Her eyebrows once again lifted as she tried to piece together what had been said, before it clicked, and she smiled. "Thanks, man-- 'ppreciate it."

Milo gave a short nod before hopping back into the drivers seat—Raihan following close behind in the passengers. Before he could shut the door, he noticed Milo was glowering at him.
“Please don’t smoke in here,”
“Oh ****, my bad,” Raihan immediately hopped back out, throwing his cigarette on the ground and snuffing it out under his foot, then got back in. Milo looked more annoyed.
“Dont litter either,” he said somewhat begrudingly, starting up the car before Raihan got a chance to respond.

Once they were on the road, Raihan somewhat fidgety, Milo finally let his shoulders relax a bit and looked at Bonnie through the rearview mirror.
“So, what’re you trying to get to Heroes Bath for?”

Bonnie climbed into the back seat, placing the Pokemon on her lap and idly letting her hand stroke along his back, the two others' back-and-forth making her snort a little.

Her shade-covered eyes flicked to Milo at his question, her expression a little unreadable as she shrugged. "Surprise. You'll see."

Milo’s eyebrows furrowed at her comment.
“Thats not concerning at all,” he mumbled.

The next half hour passed mostly in silence. The Jangmo-o in bonnie’s lap continued to purr away, and at a point, Raihan had leaned over to turn the radio on. He and Milo had bickered for a moment before deciding on a station, and from there, they were silent.
Once they arrived, Raihan seemed almost ectsatic to get out of the truck—and immediately winced from the cold. A soft sheet of snow blanketed the ground, and Raihan gave a quiet grumble, fishing the pack of cigarretes out from his pocket again. Milo grimaced as he locked the truck behind him.

“Well, we’re here,” Milo said nonchalantly, glancing over at Bonnie, and then to the steaming water of the heroes bath. “Whats the surprise?”

Bonnie couldn't help but be a little amused by their back-and-forth; she wondered if they didn't really get along too well. Though, she supposed, Milo probably wouldn't have driven all the way out for him if that were the case.

She seemed unbothered by the cold when she stepped out, once again scooping the little Pokemon up in her arms so he wasn't left alone in the truck. She was already fishing Ray's PokeBall from the pocket of her joggers, though her brow furrowed a little, and she pointed a finger at Milo. "Say anythin' to anybody, you're a dead man," She warned, before releasing the Pokemon inside.

The beam, just as before, stretched and stretched into a winding, serpentine body, until Ray shook his head with a huff as the light dissipated, exposing his drying scales. His eyes wandered for a moment as he took in his surroundings boredly, until his intense gaze landed on Milo.

Milo seemed curious as Bonnie clicked the Pokeball. As the light began to stretch, he took guesses in the back of his mind as to what it could be. A Milotic or Dragonair came to mind first, but as hardened scales sharpened into view as the body stretched further and further, Milo took his third guess as a Gyrados. When the light finally dissapated into the night air, Milo could feel his throat tighten up.

For the most part, he knew he was scared. Looking up at the pokemon was almost dizzying, and Milo felt lightheaded. After a moment, though, his hands balled in to fists and were instinctively ghosting the Pokeballs on his hips. Raihan quickly stepped in.

“Heyyy hey hey, Milo, calm down dude,” he whispered aggressiely, trying to make a barrier between the two with his body. Milo didnt have the tact to look at him, opting to keep his eyes on the legendary dragon.

Upon seeing where his hands reached, Ray immediately let out a loud hiss, like steam escaping a burst pipe, as his pupils contracted into slits. Bonnie's gaze nervously flit between the two men and her Pokemon, less worried about the latter, as her eyes squinted. Ray's head cocked to the side as he lowered himself, obscuring Bonnie similarly to how Raihan was trying to act as a buffer between the dragon and farmer.

"Dude, what's up with you?" She mumbled to the large beast, who only warbled gutturally. His scales had raised, giving them a keeled appearance-- and also making him look like an angered cat. "Yeesh, s'okay, s'okay," She cooed softly, running a hand along his neck. Ray's eyes never strayed from Milo's. God, Bonnie hadn't seen him react like this to anybody in...awhile.

After a moment, Milo tried to loosen his shoulders with a little bit of effort—though still keeping his eyes on the serpent. If anything, Raihan would’ve said that he looked dangerous.
“I don’t think Hoenn’s going to be very happy that you have…that.” Milo managed to ease out of his throat. Even though he’d since let his shoulders gone slack, it was obvious he was still wracked with tension. The same could be said for Raihan, at that point.

“Don’t say that dude!” He said panickedly, snapping his fingers infront of Milo’s eyes to get him to look at Raihan. After a moment, he did. “Groudon and Kyogre are gonna kill you, okay, so just shut up for a second. Let her explain.”
Milo couldn’t do much else than glower at him before moving his gaze to Bonnie. Raihan did the same, and gestured for her to give the rundown explination that she gave him.

Ray's eyes remained narrowed, steam pushing out of his nose as he huffed-- though, he lifted his head away from Bonnie when the farmer seemed to ease up, at least a little. The trainer herself seemed a little tense, too, her eyes idling on her Pokemon for a long moment before settling back on the other two men. "He's sick," She started, hiding her hands in the pocket of her hoodie. "Some folks I talked to said the flakey scales and stuff makes it look like it could be some kinda fungal infection, but nothin' I've tried has helped get rid of it. It's just been gettin' worse."

Her words seemed to earn a gentle warble from the beast, his eyes finally tearing away from Milo to look down at her. "I ain't seen him like this before. Ever. He's never gotten sick as long as I've known him. Just...wanna try everythin' I can to help."
