I am not sure why (I do not play much), But the selecting parent dragons' option in my nesting grounds will not let me select any, none pop up at all. I have space in my lair, but it's just blank and no options are there. Is there a limit I am unaware of?

Looks like you solved the problem by feeding your dragons; they need 40/50 energy or higher.
