Complete support, I agree with seasonal markers even more because it allows for people to not waste everything but at the same time prevents confusion from having it "usable at baldwin" but then looking and seeing nothing.
I also think the seasonal marker should be a different shape as well as a different color to assist with any potential accessibility concerns. [maybe something like significantly thicker lines for the icon border.]
