Thematically Earth and Arcane both cover crystals; with Earth being into all minerals and Arcane being more into giant radioactive pink crystals. HOWEVER. If you just like the idea of crystalline dragons, that's not something that's really tied down to a specific flight- dragons of any flight can use the genes that gives them that appearance. You could be in water and still have crystal dragons! The only thing that your flight controls is the eye color of dragons you breed, which in your case any dragon you hatch from a nest will have purple as that's Shadow's color. Earth has brown range eyes, and Arcane has pink btw.

As for your progenitors (your starter dragons) I'd suggest popping them into the scrying workshop and play around with different gene options for them to see if you can make them suitable to your tastes before exalting them. But as they're your progens, you're allowed to get them back anytime if you do decide to exalt them anyway. This is not the case for any other dragon you obtain. For any dragon not your starters, you get one free chance a month or so to bring one (1) back if you exalt them. Otherwise they're gone for good. So... be careful if you're exalting dragons you might actually care about.

[/quote] how do i do that (;_;) [/quote] @uko you can purchase genes from the auction house or marketplace! in the marketplace there's a "genes" tab that shows which genes are in stock at that moment. you can go to the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/scrying/predict]scrying workshop[/url] to test out all genes on the site. some genes are available through the treasure marketplace, some are through the gem marketplace, some are through baldwin's bubbling brew, and some are through trading with swipp. but all genes are usually for sale on the auction house, too. you can customize a dragon's genes, breed, eye type, and pose (male or female), but you can't change it's colors (except by using a tricolor scatterscroll, but that randomizes the colors), it's biological sex, or it's element.
