Okay, this is gonna sound super mean. I love all the dragons that I have lore/ideas connected to, which includes the kids of established lore dragons. But. Good Gladekeeper. I don't want to keep him though! I feel super weird about writing lore like "ohhh he wanted to serve his deity" when in reality he's just not a good dragon to breed with lol. Don't get me wrong, he's kinda cute, but I don't think he's cute enough to keep around. Obviously Flight Rising fans are obsessive hoarders, why else would we all be fixated on dragons. Do I just keep him until I have enough slots to justify keeping him? Do I exalt him and write it into the lore even though it's kinda weird? Do I try to salvage him by dressing him up super pretty? What do I do??!?!!?! I think the best option might be to train him to be a Kelp Beds leveller and rent him out to my flight. Maybe even sell him as a leveller on the condition that he keeps his lore. What are you guys' thoughts? What do you do in this situation?

Ooooh, okay, those are pretty. I suppose I could keep him and switch up his genes a bit. I don't really have money to spend on genes, and I'm not too attached to him, but maybe I'll gene shuffle some of his siblings...

You could honestly just regene if you want to keep him, those genes just don't do the colors justice is all imo! They can look quite nice! That said, you could also sell em. They might still get exalted, as you will literally always run that risk, but it won't be your responsibility in any way. You could even skip him in the lore and exalt yourself, pretend he was ~never there~

Oh, that Veilspun is gorgeous. You're right though, I could just write him out of history lol. I've done it before with Tundra fodder, so I mean....

I'm not mad! I don't usually trade dragons, but I could sort of trade him by selling him and using the money to get a different dragon.

If you don't want to keep him that's completely fine too!
If any of my stories help, I actually have a dragon that I exalted within the first few weeks of me joining because I didn't like her colors, the daughter of my progens, who I wrote to be pretty significant in my lore later on, so writing exalted dragons into lore isn't all that weird.
You could also try selling him to someone on the Find a Dragon forum, for example, if they're looking for a dragon that match their requirements, perhaps writing that in as him choosing to simply leave the Clan? Once you trade him off though the new owner has full control of what happens to him, even deleting the lore, but just a suggestion.
