I feel like he is overdue for a regene. He was my 1st egg hatched, and that made me want to keep him! Does anyone have any ideas for what he could be? I would prefer him to stay as an adult, but permababy scries are fine!

Here's two scries that I like!

He's a cute dragon. Here are some scries I came up with :).

flowers shall grow
and I am in them,
and that is eternity.

Some Ancient scries!

Oo, he has a lot of potential!
I think you can either keep his colors more calm and muted, or warm them up a little to better match the tertiary by using a gene that shows off an accent color.
An expensive scry that's on the more muted side:

A less expensive scry on the muted side:

Or use glowtail to sort of move the tert to the background:

One more:

Then there's using an accent color to sort of warm things up and incorporate the intensity of the tertiary color:

And of course, he looks great as a Veilspun, because everything does!

@DarkVixen He's lovely! Sliver has some accents that match spruce wonderfully

[columns]I feel they are in a slightly similar boat to my first G1 (the one you choose the2 colours of and get given the 3rd), who's goal is this:
[nextcol]

[/columns]
[columns]Sooo, perhaps yours suits a similar treatment: with the somewhat matchy primary and secondary colouring and then blossoms as an accent piece?
Though I changed the Phantom on my derg for a Piebald on yours which, imo, ties in with the lighter colour of the silver better that way and only makes the red pop more! (Runes also work with this look, imo)

Pearlcatcher - Iridescent | Noxtide | Stained
Silver Noxtide seems to already go slightly more bluey which I feel matches the Spruce Primary much better already but Stained is a good gene for making colours blend even better together (in most cases, not always ofc)

Coatl - Speckle | Patchwork | Spines
Like Noxtide, Silver Patchwork also includes some blues which also match the Spruce Primary - even if you go for a more patterned option because it has lighter and darker hues c:
If you want less emphasis on the Sanguine Tert then perhaps Spines works for you though Basic is always an option as well if you just don't want the red colour at all!

Veilspun - Vipera | Hawkmoth | Mop
Mop for a tert just looks like this derg has a very cool rebellious streak which I think has a brilliant mix of standing out and seeming normal and, well, unnaturally natural! Like the previous Secondary Genes, Hawkmoth has some darker blue so it matches nicely with the Primary genes that include a similar darker colour c:
