Hello, hello!

I am pinging you all here because most of you posted in my IC thread in Dragon Share and expressed interest in this pair. Well, the day has come and my snowy autumn Veilspun pair has had its first nest hatch.

There were three hatchlings, however while I was looking up names and setting up the post, one of them got claimed. So there are now two left, which you can see in the first post of this thread.

Both hatchlings are named, but, if you are buying a hatchling and don't like the name, let me know and I'll send over a scroll of renaming, too.

If the price is too high or you don't like the colours, let me know. I can contact you when the price reaches your range (either as I slowly lower the price on these hatchlings or with following cheaper nests) or they get colours you like :).

Right now they are not on the AH. I will add them to the AH about 5 to 6 hours later, but I wanted to give you a chance to see them first.

@Dewberry hi, if you ever get some brown, red, or murky green range kids from these two, lemme know! These two are lovely but not quite what im looking for ^^

The chance for murky green or red is small since the range is so big, however brown is a big possibility :). I was honestly surprised that all three ended up with yellow wings, especially seeing how browns take up about a third of the colour range :D.
I know you're also on the pinglist for the other pair, so maybe we'll get lucky there :).
Anyway, I've put your name down in one of the parent dragon's bios as that is the least likely way I'll forget it. And thank you for the reply here, bumps are always appreciated :).

I started with the maximum price, sorry about that. I've just put them up on the AH. Should they not sell within a couple of days I imagine I will start slowly lowering the price. If there is a certain price point you have in mind, I can ping you when I reach it. Otherwise, as per your request, I will keep you on the pair's pinglist and simply ping you for the next nest hatch, which should be around Christmas :).
And thank you for the kind words :)! I was hoping at least one would have orange wings and was expecting at least one to have brown, but they just all went with the yellowish tones :D.

@Dewberry I don't blame you a bit for starting the prices where you did. :) I'm terrible at pricing dragons and I tend to go all green around the gills when contemplating numbers above a certain point. (I'm ashamed to specify, seeing what other players are happy to pay for nice dragons.) I think I'll haunt them on the AH, although I'm pretty sure they'll get snapped up long before they reach my price point. And that's fine. :) Players who are better at earning gems on this game than I am should be able to get pretty dragons first, and breeders who make the effort of establishing nice breeding pairs should be able to gain from their hard work. I just need to be patient. [emoji=guardian winking size=1]

Oh, I do the same thing, so the only way I can feel okay about my prices is to write a whole essay about why I chose what I chose. See my post here for an idea :D.

It's fine, I wouldn't mind no matter what number you'd say. After all, they are only worth so much (in my mind) because the breed is new and there aren't yet a ton of people breeding for this look. Once more people get pairs set up, the price will quickly go down as more and more hatchlings will enter the market. That being said, I won't pressure you to say what price would be okay. I can understand not wanting to say that out loud.

True, patience is key when trying to find good deals. The more you wait, the lower the prices will get. That being said, I will ping you when this pair nests again. Though before that you can expect a ping for the first pair (the evergreen-themed Veilspuns). They've been gened up and so I'm just waiting for the male to come off the initial cooldown :).

Wonderful, thank you! I will say that one advantage to this being a gem breed is that--unlike with Gaolers and Banes--I won't be buying a whole bunch in the first month or two, and I will be more picky. I like your pairs, so all that goes in your favor!

And I hear you on the whole cost of geneing vs. cost of a hatchling thing. Example: I am bonkers for Diaphanous in certain colors and have a half-dozen G1s that I could gene ... if I had loads of gems. Odds are I won't be doing that! :P Instead I'll be keeping an eye on the AH for the right Diaphanous hatchlings, and maaaaybe gene up one G1 somewhere down the road.
