If you've played Monster Hunter World: Iceborne you know what I'm on about.
Seriously the main theme is just breathtakingly beautiful to listen to and that's just the theme.

The monster themes are so intense and dynamic, makes fighting them so much more enjoyable (That goes for the main game but I find the DLC music more memorable).

Then some tracts are just bloody mesmerising (Tales Spun through Song is one of them, seriously go listen to it!). Now you got the new guy that recently came out, now his music genuinely feels like I'm fighting a boss in Darksouls.


While I ramble on how amazing the music is, what are your favourite Video game soundtracks?

Sadly, I've not had the chance to grab Iceborne for MH yet. Will probably buy it next year sometime but what I'm hearing is great things! :D Some of the armour looks amazing (and I must have). Sadly I'll probably start over again and that's a lotta grinding to deal with.

Soundtracks I love for nostalgia: FF9 (in particular, You're Not Alone and the Vamo' Alla Flamenco, aka the Chocobo Hot n Cold mini-game music).

Journey has some beautiful music and I regularly listen to to whole OST from start to finish because I can imagine the game/progress of it as I listen.

Persona 5 is just... urgh. I could listen to that all day. Can't wait till Royal comes out really so I have an excuse to complete it again. xD Blooming Villain, Regret and Hatred Goemon, are my favourites right now.

And depending on my mood, I can be into Nier: Automata's soundtrack, in particular: Bipolar Nightmare (Vocal version) and Birth of a Wish and Birth of a Wish (This Cannot Continue).

And God of War is just perfection, honestly. Makes for a short time in the Coli when I have that on. (A Giant's Prayer, Valkyries and Memories of Mother are my all time favourites.)

recently been playing fates, I’m backtracking down the fire emblem series + this has gotta be my favourite FE soundtrack, yall better not be sleeping on No Justice

@munchea Yo Namielle is a bond villain with how good her music is. Mix of cool and ominous (Plus her design is just 10/10).

@RadianceWyld Ah I hope you enjoy it when you get it, it's such a good DLC. Journey's music is so good, sadly I've never been able to play the game itself.

I kind of like Lunastra's theme over Teostra's-sounds more dramatic/intense. Safi'jiiva's theme is pretty kick *** too. Oddly enough Kushala Doara's theme sounds like it's from FF12. Nerg's theme has this sort of....awkwardness to it. Like 'here's this big spikey dragon that is weird and acts like a cat when not fighting'.

I like Horizon Zero Dawn's OST. Prey (PS4) has a good OST too.
