Name: Gyosasu
Weapons: blow darts, poisoned dagger, smoke bombs, one reusable stun grenade (it’s his bell)
Magic Types: Nonmagical
Special attacks:
• Trick attack – A knife attack with increased potency when attacking from the rear. Increases target’s damage taken by 5%
• Smoke Shift – creates clouds of smoke that nullify damage up to 20% of his or his ally’s max hp (Basically Shade Shift)
• Blowing Darts – Ranged attack with damage over time effect
• Stun grenade – Deals a small amount of unaspected damage and stuns all enemies near where the grenade lands (radius 8y). (Basically Holy, but just modified to where the grenade lands rather than the caster’s location)
• Hide – Avoids detection by most enemies, slows movement speed by half, effect ends when any attack is used.
Armor: Light (Reinforced/Layered fabric armor)
Race: Namazu
Bio:
Gyosasu was raised in a namazu trading collective by his mother, his father absent most of the time on the run from authorities—but he would visit occasionally. After his chores for the day, Gyosasu would take off his bell and sneak away unnoticed into the settlements of hyur. He found that without his bell he was able to move silently with a natural smoothness and stealth. He would steal food and trinkets from the villagers and watch them train from the shadows. His last visit with his father ended with his father informing him that he would never return to the collective again—that it was too dangerous when he was in so much debt. Gyosasu was heartbroken, and vowed to collect enough money to free his father from his bonds. Years have passed, and Gyosasu finally has the money he needs for the task—but his father’s whereabouts are unknown. He has gone out into the wide world to begin the search, yes yes!
Family:
Gyotaka (Mother) - strict and hot tempered for a namazu. Raised Gyosasu to work hard in their collective to meet weekly quotas of goods and sales. (Alive, would be an old woman by now living in a namazu trading collective)
Gyopansa (Father) – a man (or fish?) of vice who was always in debt, always in trouble, and always one step ahead of those who would punish his wrongdoing. (Alive, definitely getting on in years, who knows where)
Limit Break: Precision Back Stab! (Single target) Gyosasu slips unnoticed from wherever he was to behind the enemy’s back for a powerful, unexpected stab to a vital area of the opponent’s body.

Vjtkar, to say the least, had been enjoying life to the fullest. Meeting new people- who always seemed wary or nervous to his observation, running into very sketchy strangers- who for some reason or other, always offered him large sums of Gil, of which he always graciously declined, and blazing skirmishes with monsters, who he seems to be running into a lot lately. If anything, they were mere annoyances, causing him to have to clean and polish his armor and weapons every time he stepped foot out of towns. Ah! This is the life! He sighs in content, though perhaps to anyone nearby, seemed more like a neutral and very stoic sigh, none out of happiness.
Settled in the corner, the Viera is rubbing down his cuirass, chainmail clanking while he goes about the chore. Blue ears twitch as he passively listens in on the small conversations in the bar….Though, at one very excited voice, he glances over his shoulder, staring at the Sylph and... Human? Interesting. The motion of his hand and cloth is undisturbed despite his lack of attention, just watching the goings-on with much interest, or what he would have thought to be an expression of interest- which instead looked very much like intense anger and/or annoyance.

A quiet presence inside the bar, a shadow blending in with some crates full of sweet-smelling ripe fruits, watched the patrons go about their drinking and merrymaking. The pockets of the deep gray colored garment it wore were bulging with delicacies the creature had silently liberated from their wooden cages. At the sight of a sylph striking up a conversation, a creature he had never before seen, he began wiggling his stubby little arms in excitement. In the momentary lapse of caution, his body let out a small squeak that someone perceptive or with large ears would have been able to hear.
He stood perfectly still after the quiet sound, trying to sense if anyone perceived his presence with his wide, saucer-like eyes. His gaze landed on the one with the big ears. That one might have heard something—yes yes! Should he stride out into the light as if he had meant to do so the entire time, or hang back with only some small acknowledgement toward this individual? They didn’t exactly look friendly. Gyosasu was not sure, so he stood still as a wave of worry began to wash over him. There was the matter of that crystal too, yes yes. This person with the large ears had armor—was a warrior, that was plain to see. Perhaps this warrior could help Gyosasu get to the crystal with all of his fins intact. After a moment’s hesitation, he gave a quick wave in the Viera’s direction, still covered by shadow.

The Tall male's glance settled on the Sylph that had decided to enter his expression, a little "hooh" escaping him in simply sheer surprise as he let out yet another little friendly chuckle, his hands raised, his nails were elongated and faintly red, but other than that, his hands were entirely normal, his wrists wrapped in a pair of metal Vambraces.
"Evening to you aswell little excited one, I think I already have plans, however what do you need help with? if its something quick I'd be happy to assist atleast for the moment."
He offered her? him? a fanged little grin, the red jacket he wore wrapped firmly around his form, keeping his usually exposed chest...unexposed, and his tail, pleasantly hidden.
"Again, only if its right quick, I have a gig tomorrow and..I have to sleep."
he lied.

"Oh, well... This one supposes it might be fast enough to manage to get there and back before it's too late in the evening." She flutters up and around, her back to him as she contemplates. "This one wants to go to the shrine of the Earth Crystal. This one does not know why, but this one feels a keen NEED to go and check on the crystal... even though this one has no reason to..."
She flutters down and lands in front of him, walking in little circles on the table, tapping her chin. "This one isn't suited for single combat... and the monsters along the path would eat this one, surely, if they spotted her. But this one can heal, yes, and this one can protect from injury, yes. If this one offers their aid in this way, would you be willing to guide this one to the Shrine?"

An ear twitches and draws back at the sound of the little squeak, Vijtkar tearing his focus away from the interesting conversation between the Sylph and Wolf…human? Human. Wolf. One or both of the two. He squints his eyes towards the shadow, catching the little movement just in time. Another sketchy character perhaps? He could make out the Namazu now that he was looking for them, and his hand pauses in its ferocious scrubbing.
Eyebrows furrow together, his expression of interest intensifying in seeming anger. Hm. Pointing at the creature obviously trying to get his attention, the Viera then very vehemently points to the spot next to him, inviting them over. That is, what was a way of invitation to Vijtkar, more so appeared to be like the Namazu was in trouble and was about to receive some scolding. As the Viera waits, he begins the scrubbing anew, glancing back towards the Sylph and Humawolf at the mention of the Earth Shrine…hmmm.

Gyosasu nervously waddled out from the shadow of the stack of crates, swallowing hard. The large eared one seemed quite threatening and insistent. Perhaps signaling to him had been a mistake! He sat and adjusted himself with another, louder squeak. “S-sorry, apologies, excuse my forwardness, stranger. I mean no offense, none whatsoever. I simply wanted to propose a question, ask for assistance, yes, yes, but I should have thought more carefully. Did not mean to make a bad first impression. I am Gyosasu, Gyosasu is me.” The namazu bowed his head. “I was not hiding, merely examining those shadowy crates for … safety… defects. What sturdy armor you have there, yes, yes.”
His broad, fishy smile betrayed a hint of his nerves. Had some other voice brought up the earth crystal, or was he just imagining things? He followed the Viera’s gaze to the strange looking hyur and the small winged… floating… something. “Others you know, yes, yes? Perhaps friends, companions? Or perhaps not. I should like, prefer, enjoy having others to travel with… if it’s not trouble. Yes, yes. I never mean to be trouble.” He placed the tips of his arms (fins?) together with another soft squeak.

A deep breath was taken as the sylph properly divulged its information and idea, a long breath drawn from the Male as He reached up softly, scritching faintly through his own hair...
"You need to go..to the earth shrine..now?"
He'd admit he'd felt the earth shrine tug at his own mind, begging to be visited and explored for..well reasons was the only thing that popped into his mind...his gaze turning onto the Namazu and the viera closeby, if only for a second as he was soon distracted by the Sylph's incessent wandering and thoughtful rambling.
"Do...you have gil to pay for protection or..are you just hoping for kindness?"
He quietly asked, it wasnt neccessarely that he was opposed to the idea at all, infact he probably intended to take them up on the odd...well suggestion? Offer? if only to satisfy the annoyance dragging, clawing at his own mind..
But He'd atleast pretend to put up a fight, perhaps get something for it? even if the Sylph was unlikely to have..well much of anything.

"This one is a healer, yes." She nods slightly, "But this one does not have coin, nor possessions... it is difficult for this one to carry much..." she motions to herself and smiles bashfully.
"... A single gil coin is as large as this one's torso. Can you blame this one? This one could use a gil as a shield..."
As she spoke, she pulled a small, bent twig from her back. The top of it was curled around a tiny piece of crystal, and several flower petals dangled from beneath that. "but this one can offer aid, if needed? This one does not mind traveling to repay a debt, either. This one enjoys traveling and seeing new places, and helping those ones in need."

Vijtkar simply raises a brow at the nervous Namazu. In other words, confusion as to why the Namazu is acting so nervously. It was a friendly enough invitation, was it not? The Viera mentally shrugs, casting a small glance towards the crates at the mention of them, his brow-raising further before he grumbles out “Vijtkar. And indeed, very sturdy…” In the friendliest tone he could muster…which ended up just sounding like mild annoyance. He attempts to smile in return, which turns into a grimace…
Nailed it.
“Ah, no. I do not know them.” He focuses back on his armor and picks up the cuirass, examining it thoughtfully, curious to Gyosasu’s inquiry. “Trouble is fun. I don’t mind it.” A bit more enthusiasm seeps into his tone at that, as nonchalant as it is. “Though, as much as I enjoy the small talk as the next, what is this question?” Seemingly bored, he sets the piece of armor down, moving on to cleaning his bloodied sword.
