I hope it's okay to put a Legacy Challenge in here, I can't seem to find any other threads like the one I want to make.

DAY 1: START Hatched an Earth Egg and got my starting dragon: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2064309] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/20644/2064309_350.png[/img] [/url] Guardian girlie with Aqua/Pink/Thistle Oh my... I don't know what my goal is, really. Maybe it'll depend on who I get as her mate! Sticking with the rule that they have to be the same flight element as the first dragon, and lowering the cost to 5kt to really narrow down the field. I think I narrowed it too much, there aren't many earth dragon babies in the AH right now! And as I'm searching I keep seeing gorgeous babies. *bites hand* NOOOOO After searching around, I have decided on this studly lovely Mirror! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2064955] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/20650/2064955_350.png[/img] [/url] I want my Legacy Challenge to have themed names! The things I'm really into right now are cooking and mantises. I have a list of Hot Dishes of Minnesota which are all pretty funny names, and not too pompous of a food type to have fun with. And maybe I should try to hatch myself a mantisy dragon! Our Chinese mantis is pretty cute and colorful: [img]https://24.media.tumblr.com/bb029e0aefb143f1663b8975f9e7f6c8/tumblr_mz797rzU8G1qekqc9o3_250.jpg[/img] And I think a mix of Springs and Sunshines, with a brown tert would make him possible! With irishim maybe? Anyway that's what I'll tryyyy for. We'll see if I get anywhere close.

Still waiting for the founders to grow up and cool down!

I think I might hunt for the second gen mate sooner than later, so if they are non-common they have time to grow up and be RTB at the same time as the offspring :)

Buttttttt that means getting a male and female uncommon to sit around for whatever eventuality, and maybe not fitting the breeding plans. Hmm.

It's moving away form the greens and yellows I'd need for the Mantis dragon, but I can make up for that with the gen 2 mate, probably.

Did U Know? Mantises have five eyes. The two big compound eyes, and three small eyes between their antennae.
(Maybe the outcome I should aim for is a Mirror? Since it would only be 1 eye off from correct? Or a breed with "antennae")

OOOH BOY TIME TO HATCH MY NEW GENERATION OF DRAGONS!!! Hope I get a good one! .... Hunt time! I started with a 5k dragon, so I'll increase it by 5k for each generation. Why is finding earth dragons so hard? WEIRD! Hubby is an Earth clan, but he only breeds very specific dragons, so yeah. This was the first baby to hatch :) She's still geneless! Ahhhhhhhh! Well, time to find a handsome Earth dragon for her! Generation 3x5000 = 15000 budget for her mate, let's see what I find! Forgot to hatch my newest generation for... gosh, a few weeks I guess... because of finishing my masters' degree! But finally did hatch them and OH NOO COME ON. Actually really cute, like the color combo for a denim/khaki thing. Like, REALLY like it, in a weird way. BUT HIS SISTER: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=3554562] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/35546/3554562_350.png[/img] [/url] HOW DID I GET A SHIMMER IMPERIAL OUT OF THIS COUPLE??? And why did she have to be the second child? T_T Rules win, though. Time to find a mate for this little dude. 5x5,000 = 25,000 budget. Seems doable!
