[emoji=blue bee size=1] ~ Vohkinne | Sage | Shield-maiden Home | Interactions: Open Vohkinne leapt through her doggy-door, her paws landing roughly on the concrete pathway in front of her house. She strode acros the pavement, her muscles stretching with every bound. Running from her was a man dressed in black, wearing a sort of a ski-mask. He was carrying a bag full of stuff that did not belong to him. Kinne's owners followed shortly after her, unable to keep up with her speed. Kinne jumped at the robber, tearing through his garments and injuring him as much as she could until he fell to the ground in submission. Her owners caught up to them and handcuffed the guy, radioing another cop to come with a police car to bring this guy to jail. After the police car came and took the guy away and the stolen goods were returned, Kinne's owners took her to get some ice cream. "You did well today, girl." Her male owner complimented her. She perked up. "But your not ready just yet, not to be a police dog." He continued. Kinne looked a bit disappointed, but understood. They put down a cup of ice cream at Kinne's paws, and she happily lapped it up. Once they arrived at home, Kinne laid down on the porch of their house, falling asleep. Aside from the robbery, today hadn;t been much of an eventful day. It wasn't over just yet, though. ----- [emoji=music notes size=1] ~ Tahki | Guardian | Steeleaver Home | Interactions: Open Tahki rolled around on the floor in sheer boredom, pawing around a small rubber ball. He eventually got bored of that and got up, padding over to the door and walking out. He bounded around on the concrete before finding a squirrel to chase, again, out of boredom. He caught up to the squirrel, snatching it and killing it. He padded back to his home satisfied. A flash of black sped past him, dissapearing into the alleyways. Tahki looked at the alley for a moment, than took off after the 'shadow'. Upon reaching the 'shadow', the 'shadow', now visible as a full dog, turned to look at him. The dog dissapeared, Tahki looked confused, glancing around for any hints as to what happend. Suddenly, a group of dogs approched Tahki. Tahki gasped silently out of fear. The groupd consisted of three huge dogs, glaring through Tahki. Tahki ran, through the alley and up to his house. The dogs had left him behind a little hwile ago. Tahki sighed out of relief, going inside his house. ----- [emoji=left wing size=1] ~ Sorot | Fledgling | Whittle Residence | Interactions: None The breeze was silent and soft, flowing like a quiet river through Sorot's fur. Sorot laid on the grass, the blades flattening quietly under his body, his head raised and eyes gently closed. His tail was wrapped around his body, and his back dipped lower than the rest of his body. He laid his head down, falling asleep. An hour or two later, he was awoken by a loud bark. On the pavement was someone walking their dog, who was barking at him. Sorot dragged himself backwards, away from the dog. Once the dog left, he resumed his nap.

Sistina | Healer | Aeredale Forest/Property to Isley's Estate | Interactions: Open

The early morning sunlight breaks through the branches within Aeredale Forest, shinning onto the small meadow patch where Sistina lazily rolls, leaves and bits of small twig stick to her coat, as she sleepily tries and fails to fall back asleep. Although she would be quite content with staying in her original position, she knows she must head back home soon; mainly to make sure she’s there before her owner awakens and to began her daily duties for the day.

Still half-awake she sits up, shaking her head and using one paw to try and at her squinched eyes before blinking wearily due to the sharp brightness of the sun. She slowly surveys the area, a few feet away is the remains of a small carcass she had hunted from the previous night. Slowly, she stands up and lazily stretches out her muscles, eyes clenching and muzzle widening as her tongue runs over her teeth, face scrunching from the tangy metallic taste of blood that is seemingly still fresh within her mouth. Sistina knows that the morning is short and there won't be enough for her to sit and groom herself or even take her time before she heads back, her owner is finicky with letting her roam and some neighbors have complained directly to letting one's dog roam freely within the neighborhood and forest.

The cool breezes ruffle's her fur as her ears perk, listening for a moment to the sounds of the woods, even know she is still always on her guard. The quietness of the meadow is almost unnerving, with an occasional animal sound or the fragile leaves tearing up under her paws as she begins a slow walk outwards. Awhile it is theoretically still summer, the beginnings of Autumn and thankfully cooler weather can be seen, from the wind to the changings in colors of the trees. Sistina dreads spring and hates summer, preferring the colder months of winter and fall, though unsure if it's due to her breeding or just the fact of her coat.

The walk isn't all that long, it's been countless times that she's explored the forest, knowing it all like the back of her paw. Boredom ensues, and her mind starts to wander, checking off the early daily duties she'll have to start when she gets back: making rounds on the territory and general checking of any disturbances, natural or supernatural. Oh! And that canine pup that had been supposedly assigned to her as a "student". She huffed, grinding her teeth at the thought, Sistina wasn't all that teacherly nor overly a maternal guide to others. But it was clear that she would have little choice in the matter, and it would be done whether she liked it or not.

A loud and sudden crack in the distance draws her attention from her mindless, wandering thoughts, stopping and planting herself firmly on the ground the Tamaskan's head snaps around, silver eyes narrowing as she slowly sniffs the air. Forward of herself in the distance, she can see the beginnings of her residence, it's crumbling old stone wall beckons, covered in over-growing vines and an unlatched wooden fence door that hangs open from her attempts to un-latch it the night before.

Sistina warily takes another step forward, eyes searching the dense woods for any signs of an intruder, taking in the overwhelming senses of other fellow animals surrounding, it's intense enough to give her a headache. There's nothing there! It's just your mind and the forest playing tricks on you.

Ostium | Fledgling | near Aere’s Estate | Interactions: Open
Ostium wandered happily around the large house she called home. She Peered into every nook and cranny she came across, it seemed like everywhere she went something new was waiting to be discovered. Some frogs there, a weird plant over that way. Many a time she wanted to pick up one of the salamanders she came across but her toxic saliva would most definitely harm the sensitive creatures. She did come across something she could pick up though, a smooth grey stone by the front gates of the house. She leaned forward to pick up the stone but something else caught her eye. A little garden snake was peering up at her from a bush, flicking its tongue in and out as snakes usually do. She stared at the animal for a second before running back to the house. She huffed and laid down in the shadow that the house cast, she thought over what she had found that day as she listened to the birds sing from the treetops.
Blink | Outsider | Cabin within the forest | Interactions: Closed
The little dog lay sleeping on the floor of the hot cabin, his little feet twitching as he dreamt. Suddenly Blink jerked his head up and turned his ears towards a strange sound. He could hear a low howling from outside, it sounded like that of a wolf but then wouldn’t there be more then one? He jumped up and clambered onto the arm of the couch so he could see out of the window. Nothing, he couldn’t see anything outside and by now there was no trace of any sound besides the soft chirping of crickets. Blink stared out the window for another minute before giving up and going back to sleep.

She padded curiously around the trees, her nose staying on the ground at virtually every moment. She caught a new scent every time. The smell of a worm, the smell of a bird, the distant scent of a fox. Aw man! If only she was there when the fox was around! That would've been interesting!

She continued to wander further and further. She stopped ever now and then when she saw a bug she hadn't seen before. It had giant bity parts and was just very black. She went to sniff it but it bit her nose, causing her to let out a loud whine. She shook her head wildly, and with that, it was flung off in the distance. Don't mess with him! She made a mental note to herself.

She continued exploring, hoping to see something new. She always did though, and thats why she loved this cabin so much!

He blinked sleep away as he lay on his soft dog bed. He raised his head to see mittens, one of the cat's they own, staring at him. He yawned just as Aspen began to stand up. "Mornin' Sunshine." The cat meowed to him just before standing up and trotting off. He leaned forward into a stretch before leaning backwards as well. He then shook himself off, trotting out of the room he slept in.

He quickly went to the door, allowing his owners to see him. And when they did, They opened the door and he trotted out the door. He took in the fresh scent of the air before walking towards the chicken coop.

He reached it to find most of the chickens still there, the ones who were missing were out an about. He then turned to see the goats all seemed to be present. that was a good sign! No foxes or coyotes have decided to snack on their animals. They did have an issue with that last month, but it was quickly sorted out, and they had gotten new chickens that were funny looking things. They had a fluff of fleathers on their heads and feet, and it made them look odd.

He sighed, feeling like today was going to be good.

He shook dirt out of the little fur he had as he moved from the single tree in the field he called home. It was a large tree, possibly an Oak. He didn't know though, he didn't study trees. He began to walk towards the direction of the neighborhood nearby. It was the only source of food he had right now, and food was easy to come by.

He began to walk, the grass of the field almost as tall as him, so it was hard to see the direction that he was going, but he managed it every morning. He huffed as his stomach growled, why did he choose to live so far away? Probably because he wanted to stay as far away as possible.

He sighed, this'll be a while.

[emoji=snowflake size=1] Winter | Healer | Woods near Oscar's cabin | Interactions: Open Lilies. Water. Moss. Wisteria. Winter took in the familiar scents of the garden as she ambled her way over to the edge of the koi pond. This was her place, more than any other part of the Ashenbrooke home. Crouching over the water, she contentedly watched the fish swim circles around the lilypads. Swirls of orange, yellow, white, and black filled her vision. Sadly, she could not linger here for long today. She had responsibilities. Luckily, her humans had not done a particularly good job of fencing in their property. Surrounding the garden was a mossy stone wall – cute, but completely unsuccessful at keeping her in. There was a low section that was fairly easy to jump over, and another section hidden behind a bush where enough stone had broken away to create a small hole. And since Winter had always been subtle about her escapes, there was little to worry about in terms of increased security. Today she had chosen to use the jumping method of escape. She approached the nearby woods at a brisk trot, slowing once she entered the cover of trees. The wildlands of Aeredale truly were beautiful – how lucky she was to live so close to the forest. Perhaps later she would have some free time to relax here. Now, however, her mission was to check in on her new fledgling, Oscar. Perhaps she was too anxious about this whole process, but he was her first ever apprentice. She was determined not to fail him. [emoji=dice 2 size=1] Domino | Deviant | Dumpster outside pizza parlor | Interactions: Open Domino lay sprawled over the closed lid of a dumpster, ignoring the scent of rotting meat that seeped through the cracks. He considered this area his turf, stink or not – and he was waiting. Waiting for what? Nothing in particular. Something interesting. Something to amuse himself. Something different from the same old dumpster, same old alley cats, same old scavenging crows. He had to wait. Seeking excitement out himself was foolish. The town was crawling with dogs of the order, dogs who would not welcome him warmly. The younger ones might not know him, but there were lists. Lists of who to avoid, who to fear, who to scorn. He was probably near the top. Of course, he didn’t intend to live this way forever. He was planning. He had been for a long, long time. But it would be a while longer before he could act on his desires. So for now, he would wait.

Inge | Deviant | La Croix's cottage | Interactions: Open

A shadowy silhouette could be seen seated at the huge, glassy window that stared out into the woods on the second storey of the building. Looking out far and wide, a pair of black furry ears perked up at the familiar call that echoed across the land. It was so faded that must have been pretty far away, but it did nothing little to ease the tensed shoulders that have reacted to it. It has been an awfully long time Inge found herself listening to it again. Her eyes averted to the town, that she once roamed its streets with pride and joy, the town that she made herself a name there, even if it has become rotten, Aeredale.

As the canine moved from her previous spot at the window, they would be fully capable of handling with the situation, if it was going to come around, there are some very elite members of The Order, whom she used to know and put her trust in, she has high hopes for them, the beast would be their problem now. None of her concerns. It was what the old canine told herself, as she headed out to the back, to indulge herself in her garden that was heavenly to her, just to calm the nerves that have been creeping up to her...
- - - - -

It was an ordinary morning, quiet, peaceful, sunlight warmth painted the building, just like every other morning, it'd have been different, if today wasn't the day that marked the milestone of fully two years ever since the incident, that forever changed Inge's life, coincidentally, today was also something else, an migration that Inge couldn't really remember about. Being away from the world, seems to take its toll on the elderly canine, she'd have lost her track and time. As the sun risen, Inge followed it, the early songbird cheerfully chirping among the tall trees that surrounded the isolated cottage made the canine fluttered her eyes open. Yet another day has come.

Inge hadn't been aware that she'd have fallen asleep on the porch inside of her garden, it must have been that the alluring scent of the flowers that helped her drift away to her rest. Giving herself a stretch before she went and get the watering can, tending to her previous flora lives was always the most important part of every morning. After making sure that everything's good as usual, she'd head back inside to herself a breakfast meal, then she'd proceed to do the work around the house, like every other day, the loop never seems to come to an end, but to her, it was fine this way.

Shino | Guardian | Kaydesh's home to Minami's house| Mentions: Saber @SuddenShimmer

The canine woke to the heavenly smell of breakfast early in the morning, his tail started wagging on its own account and he panted happily as he quickly gotten out of his bed in the dog house at the back yard that was exclusively made for him. One of his owners, the mother, had come all the way out to give him his food before they heading to the restaurant. She greeted the Akita upon seeing his joyful self peaking out of the dog house, he licked her hand in appreciation before wolfing down his food while she petted him.

"You be a good boy, Shino, we'll be heading out now." She cooed at the dog, squishing his chubby face one last time before going back inside, probably to prepare herself before heading over to the restaurant with her husband. Meanwhile the canine has already finished up his breakfast, his tail still wagging from the excitement, licking his maws clean. Once he heard the front door shut close and the engine of the car drove away, the dog quickly made his way over and get through the doggy door into the kitchen, then walk down the small hallway to the front door and gotten through the dog door at the front as well, leading him outside of the residence.

He noticed that Zaheer, the stray that comes around wasn't here, he must have left earlier in the morning, as usual, just that he hoped that he'd caught up to him sometimes before the canine left to... do whatever business that he has. But as long as he returned before the family came home at night, everything's fine. Shino would love to get a chance to chat more with him, but the black canine doesn't seem to be too keen on opening up that much, it's gonna take a while more and Shino was fine with it, one day they'll be best of friends. Despite Zaheer being an 'Outsider', Shino doesn't see too much problem with it, you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can definitely judge the quality of the meat by its taste!

Shino remembered that he'd need to go and pick Saber up at his place before they head to the Aere's Estate to begin their daily duty. Hakoda has entrusted him to the younger canine, and he would not fail them. He wandered down the streets, passing by familiar and friendly faces that he often begged a treat from, they all lightened up as they saw the cheerful Akita passing by them, but since he had some place that he needed to be, he only wagged his tail and hanging his tongue out, panting happily at them.

Once he reached the Minami's residence, he looked around, searching for the sight of the younger canine, sniffing the air for his scent, Shino barked a bit, announcing his arrival "Saber! Are you home?"

Mohini || Female || 3 years || Guardian || Mason Hills || Mentions: Aspen @ChickenDinner

Movement in their owners bed briefly woke Mohini, who hopped lazily off the bed and into her open kennel to sleep some more. The nap didn't last however, as the banging of pots and pans in the other room brought her to full attention. Even with her training, the sounds always put her on edge.

Finding that sleep wasn't an option, Mohini slinked around the interior of the home locating the food and water dishes. She lapped the water and nibbled her food a bit before laying down next to the table, her owners gathering around now that the food was made. The youngest, Carson and Cole, sneakily handed her a few tasty morsels. One being a rather large piece of toast which she promptly snuck away with. Mohini trotted to the doggy door, having to crouch to get out of the short rectangle, toast in mouth.

Once outside the lanky female scanned the area for Aspen. She noticed he did this quite a but it seemed. Dainty paws padded the ground softly as she admired the fancy chickens, almost bumping into Aspen as she did. "I thought you'd be here, The boys were being generous today, so I brought you toast." She said setting down the crisp bread. Aspen was the only one in the order she really socialized with 100% voluntarily.

Lucas gave a big yawn and stretched his tiny pom-pom paws out in front of him before standing and tentatively walking over his sleeping humans body to lick his face. The old man furrowed his brow and squinted before giving a hefty laugh and picking up Lucus. He pulled the blanket he was using off and stood with the little naked dog in his arms, Only setting Lucas down once he was in his living room. Lucas watched as his owner made sausage and eggs for breakfast, setting aside a little portion of both in a small ceramic bowl for Lucas.
Lulu wiggled in place, trying his best to be patient as the old man brought the food over.
"Here you are Lulu." he said, setting down the small meal and sitting on the couch with his own. They both ate, and Lucas moved over to his owner's lap while the old man read the paper. After some time, the two finished their morning routine. Lucas trotted over to his door and scratched to be let out.
"I know, I know." His owner grumbled as he stood slowly and grabbed his cane, "It's too cold out today to be all bare like you are. Let me get you some clothes." He said as he hobbled back up the stairs and into his office room, Lulu close on his heels. Lucas watched with his head cocked as he threw aside an endless array of clothes to reveal a pastel pink, blue, and white sweater. "I Just got this one done." His owner said, pulling the sweater over Lulus body.

It was different than his regular green cable knit, but his owner was dabbling in crochet, and this was the outcome. It wasn't bad in any way though, and Lucas quite liked how much warmer the material was. "Alright, go play now boy, Papa's got some work to do around the town." The Old man said, making his way back to the downstairs door and opening it to reveal a lush green yard with a pristine white picket fence. Lucas Bolted out the door, running around the yard and exploring the garden beds for a bit before popping out from under the fence and making his way to Aere Estates, hoping he could find at least on of the healers there.

Saber | Fledgling | Minami’s House To Aere’s Estate | Interactions: Shino (@InsanityAbyss)

In the... no longer quite as early hours of morning, the ‘not quite a pup’ was laid out on his back after having shoved the curtain covering the back door aside earlier that morning. His front paws were folded and his head was twisted a bit in a way that folded his ears, dozing peacefully with the warm sun on his belly even though the early October morning brought a minor chill— not that it really would have bothered him all that much.

Pale ears twitched at the sound of barking, the small golden retriever mix rolling over onto his belly lazily to listen to the noise. He blinked a moment, a yawn following, ears swiveling to pinpoint the sound...

Saber’s ears perked and he jumped up with a start, recognizing the voice as belonging to his mentor. He was concerned of the hour if Shino had come to get him, assuming he’d slept in just a tad longer than he’d intended, a fact only confirmed by the fact his humans seemed to no longer be in the house as they’d left for work earlier.

The canine bolted to the kitchen where the sisters had left breakfast waiting for him in a bowl, quickly gobbling it down as he was never one to leave food to waste. Continuing his quick actions, he bounded quickly for the side door in the kitchen, all but diving out the doggy door there to the world outside.

He’d relaxed a tad when it became apparent that it wasn’t as late as he’d thought, the sun not high in the sky yet.

Spotting Shino made his tail wag, tongue he lulling out briefly and making it look like Saber had grinned at him in greeting. The Fledgling hopped over the little make-shift stone fence, an easy way out until the sisters decided to get a newer and nicer one for their yard. Upon making it over he gave a little shake, coat wiggling with the motion before he happily trotted up to his mentor with a quiet ‘good morning’.

He gave a short bark to his mentor as confirmation that he was ready to go, poising himself with his paws down and tail up as a playful motion with another bark before running off in the direction of Aere’s estate. His pace was slow enough that his mentor could take the lead, but he seemed eager as ever to get to the estate and start their day off on a positive note.

Zaheer | Outsider | Aeredale Forest | Mentions: Sistina (@Vlada)

The necromancer has followed along his usual path, on that kept him at the edge of the forest, only to stray when he’d caught scent of... something. It was definitely no longer living, and something that would be unpleasant to most, but for his line of work it usually meant something that could be helpful— be it to him or to another that had asked for his aid.

Scavenging that morning hadn’t necessarily been in his plans, but it never hurt to look around. Especially when really there wasn’t much else to do, as no undead influence had been lurking around the town as of late. His steps were cautious in light of the late night howl, cautious in case there was something else lurking in the forest that had been the cause behind the scent he was currently following.

Much to his curiosity, he’d happened upon some sort of clearing— a meadow of some sort perhaps? The source of the scent was clearly before him though, padding over and lowering his snout to investigate and try to figure out what exactly the carcass belonged to, who’d snagged it, and more importantly if any of it was worth taking.

He hadn’t thought much of it at the time, but his left hind leg had moved and planted itself firmly on a stick. The sound wouldn’t have been a cause for to much alarm, if not for the sudden perk of another individual a bit deeper in the forest.

Dark eyes peered in the direction of the form staring his way, crouching himself down the moment he’d noticed her. The meadow made it harder to blend in, as shadows were much more inviting than the rare clearings in the forest that welcomed larger amounts of sunlight. With any luck she’d be far enough away that he looked like nothing, or she simply wouldn’t care that the black canine had been poking about the carcass.

Regardless, dark ears swiveled slightly before lowering against his head to try and make himself disappear even if just a slight bit more.

Griffin | Guardian | Aere’s Estate | Interactions: Anenome (@Thewarywatcher13), Hunter (@LightenedWillow) | Mentions: Mawdrey (@Kirrandria), Ostium (@Actinidia)

“I win!” Came the triumphant cry from the Shepard, celebration cut short by noticing her companion in the corner of her eye last second. With practiced motion over her years of training, the white colored canine all but dropped to the ground when Anenome came barreling her way with no sign of stopping and leapt overhead. Her ears flicked a moment in assessment, hopping back up on her feet swiftly as if she hadn’t just done that. A minor nip was awarded to Anenome’s heels for the ‘offense’, but nothing serious so much as teasing.

“Better luck next time~” She kept the confident air, but crouched her front paws forward and wagged her fluffy tail as a show that the words were playful, “Brownie points for being second though— not counting the ones who live here anyways.” She pointed out the absence of the other dogs as she righted her stance again, instead opting to sit down on the grass with her paws keeping her upright.

The absence didn’t last though, as soon Hunter had bounded into the lands of the Estate, Mawdrey not seeming all to far behind. A bark of greeting was directed at Hunter, allowing Anenome a chance to engage her student before the white canine did.

Before she had much of a chance to engage Hunter further though, the Doberman on the porch finally stood up and came to sit at the edge of it to address the group. Her gaze and ears swiveled to that direction, noticing the large fluffy dog that sat in the shadow of the house in the process.

The Doberman watched as the White Shepard and coonhound rocketed onto the grounds of the estate, hopping around and having their morning banter. His gaze shifted slightly when Ostium came slinking back to the house, the fluffy pup pooping down either because she’d found something she shouldn’t or had apparently inherited a sixth sense as to when he woke up so she could grill him with her latest curiosity.

For the time being he let those present talk and prod at each other as they pleased, allowing a moment for more of those within The Order to arrive.

His ears flicked and pressed backward against his skull briefly, counting off the Guardians and Fledglings present, much to his internal disappointment. He reasoned that others could have their reasons for not being there yet— as they couldn’t arouse suspicion from their owner’s for starters, and others had Fledglings. Most of who the Sages has been planning on sending were present anyways, natural skill-sets arguably more useful than magic when it came to creatures like Perytons.

He had told them all that the migration officially started at the end of the week, hence today. Then there was the fact that they’d all done nothing but relax and spend time with their people yesterday, which meant even those who wouldn’t be working should be training.

For the time being he brushed it off with a slight head shake, standing and moving himself to the edge of the porch he normally slept on. His ears were no longer flattened, scanning the small crowd briefly before addressing them all, “As much fun as catching up will be, there is business to attend to. I’m sure you all know this though, seeing as how you are here rather than... preoccupied, with other things.” His tone was neutral as ever, curbing any annoyance with the fact that most the canines the Sages has wanted for this we’re currently present.

“So right down to business—“ He wouldn’t let his voice waiver, for his latest paranoia at least couldn’t act during the daytime, “—the Perytons will be passing through this end of town—“ A head gesture was directed at the forest, “— so Hunter, Griffin, you two will be herding any stragglers back to the herd before they can come to close to town. Those that split off from the herd are to be returned with minimal damage, preferably none at all, so watch it with the nipping.” The words were directed a bit more at Griffin truthfully.

“Once Vohkinne and Amaya arrive, they’ll come and assist you. I expect you two will be splitting into pairs of two with a Guardian and Sage each, though I will leave pairs up to them once they come to join you.”

“Each should also have a hunting dog with you, someone to better help track down any stragglers as just another layer of precaution. That being said, for the time being Anenome and Mawdrey shall accompany you both, then split up as well once the Sages join you.” He made no comment about sending Mawdrey out to help them. As long as she didn’t get kicked she’d likely be fine, it wasn’t an especially dangerous mission. “Fledglings in mind, since this mission may involve a lot of running Mocha will be training with someone else for today while you work Hunter. I’ll see to it that she has someone to assist her.”

“If none of you have questions, then head out into the forest together. As I said, once the other two arrive you’ll be split into groups, but it’s training as normal for anyone else.”

((Jumping right in!
