The name means "fire scales". Firaken = Fires, Scalen = Scales, together = Firescales.

sage is my most developed gaoler so far, they've already got a coded bio and a decent amount of lore, and i only need to brew their pinstripe before they're done

i've been too focused getting them gened in time for the girl to be RTB, but this pair, marrow and malice, as well as their hatchlings, are gonna have lore! they're a subdivision of the overseer's order called the "corpse eaters". when a monstrosity is too dangerous to imprison, or an undead creature refuses to stay dead, the corpse eaters are summoned to, uh, do as their name suggests. they're some of the only dragons who don't get sick on shade-tainted meat and all pass rigorous curse-breaking training to make sure they don't become possessed when consuming something nasty.

I still wish we could have opal or glimmer for them cause the Gaoler tert genes are killing me; opal/glimmer are my go-to tert genes
