It was during a thunderstorm that Empress found smoke coming from the nests, and immediatly went to rescue the little eggs inside and the parents trying to protect them. A lightning strike flashed and blinded her, but she managed to get out with the parents and eggs. Wow. Sappy.

He's wrapped in bandages, gloves and clothes to keep the light magic from seeping out of his scars.. But his magic is so strong from years of study that he can sense his surroundings with it in a wide-range 360 view. He's actually, well I'm pretty sure, my only hatchie I've kept. I love him to pieces.

He doesn't actually wear the cover all that much and 'feels' his way around the world with a sort of magic like he can touch things that he's not physically touching.
