Flight Rising Discussion

I have a lot of dragons in my lair with bar/daub, ripple/current, tiger/stripes and eye spots! They're lovely genes and I want to see them around more! I need more giraffe/hex dragons honestly, they're very underappreciated. As far as genes I don't have in my lair... Clown and hypnotic. I personally don't like those genes, and I don't see them around often. Clown is alright, but hypnotic hurts my eyes to look at. I also don't see a lot of ringlet dragons?? It might be because I just got off a hiatus, but I haven't noticed a whole lot. I really heckn love ringlets and I want to see more! Saturn and Jupiter are pretty unpopular too. For me, they fall into the same camp as hypnotic. It takes certain colors for it to work, otherwise it kind of hurts my eyes. I legit forgot Daub existed for like a year. I have it on maybe two of my dragons, but it's covered up entirely.

I have quite a few dragons with underrated genes in my lair since I obtained them in the 2015/16 era and I haven't regened most of them. Tiger, Speckle/Freckle, Ripple/Current, Iri/Shim, and Cry/Fac (as well as combos between them) are pretty common in my lair.

I haven't seen Hypnotic or Vipera for a long time!

I have one! This boy is one of my favourites.

The main genes I never see are the “natural” patterns, like Bar/Daub, Giraffe and the like. Also smirch. I’ve never seen a perma dragon with smirch.

I actually have a few perma dragons with some of these genes, though a couple of them I've been thinking about changing. Hypnotic looks...really busy and I'm not sure if I wanna keep it, but... :shrug:

Also, I like to breed my Bar/Daub dragons but they don't sell well at all, which makes me sad because I would like to give my babies permahomes but I don't have the patience or time to set up hatcheries.

Edit: Heck, my lair rep (also my fan dragon based on my username) uses Tiger :P

Another Edit: Looking at my lair, a LOT of my dragons actually have these genes. xD I try to make dragons with "better" genes but I never get around to it and then I get sentimental and don't haha

A lot of the older genes seem uncommon. Clown, Tiger, Bar, Daub, Vipera, Hypnotic and Smoke are the ones that come to mind most, but I also don't really see a lot of Filigree or Ringlets around despite them being newer.
