She has now retired and left the clan in the hands of her youngest daughter, DiamondCrust. She is also the current mother of many dragons. She is thoughtful, which gives the clan good decisions, she is bossy, which gets dragons to work, and she is cheerful, which keeps everydragon happy! She also has the amazing ability to get any dragons to work together. Pearl never had any parents, biological or adopted, and she was truly independent. She remembers hatching in a puddle of black goo and looking around confused. Pearl grew up alone, moving from one Shadow clan to another. She never stayed over a year in a clan. She even named herself when looking at her reflection in a pearl. One day that all changed. She was walking though the forest looking for somewhere to stay, when she came across a male Tundra. She asked him were then nearest hotel was and he said it was too far away, then he asked why she was looking for a hotel. Pearl explained that she never stayed in another dragon's clan for long and she had decided to start searching again. The Tundra thought for a bit then said,"What if you had a clan of your own? You said you didn't stay in other dragon's clans for long. What would you do if had your own clan?" This got Pearl thinking. What would she do? She got a conclusion, "How about we find out?" So she started a clan right there in the forest with the help of the Tundra, who's name was Felix. Soon Pearl and Felix were mates and the clan had officially begun. Just a small bit of my clan's lore ;D
Lichtdrache.gif
I'm still working on much of the clan's lore, but these are just three of my fav dragons that have decent-ish lore for them. Radioactive Clan Leader Radioactive was born to regular members of the clan during Blazewind's (the previous Leader and Clan Founder's) reign. As a teen, he convinced the clan's two plague mirror dragons to take him on a trip to their homeland, wanting to learn more about the lands neighbouring the Windswept Plateau. Unfortunately, an incident occurred that left Radioactive permanently injured, severely damaging his voice box and physically deeply scarring him. Despite this, he holds no grudge/ill-will towards the Scarred Wasteland, nor faults the two mirrors that took him there (since he was the one that convinced them). And despite his near complete mutism in the aftermath, he's grown up to be quite an intelligent and respectable dragon with the help of his brother, Tiboni. So much so, that Blazewind named him the clan's new Leader after he decided to step down to take on a more Advisory/Elder role within the clan. Dhaval The Traveling Ghost Dhaval is almost as old as Blazewind and is seen as one of the clan's wisest Storytellers. Having been with the clan since it's earliest days, Dhaval has seen the Jinxed Winds clan grow and change, and is more than happy to tell today's young hatchlings the clan's history. However, he is also prone to traveling a lot, often disappearing for weeks at a time. But it is worth waiting for his return as he usually always has a new story to tell from his time away, joining the many other stories he has collected in previous excursions. He is nicknamed 'The Traveling Ghost' due to his near pure white coat and the fact he mostly travels during nighttime, which if the moon is out can cause his coat to softly glow in the moonlight making him look even more ghostly. Orkeck The Bodyguard Orkeck is an older member of the clan, alongside his mate and fellow plague mirror, Thulien. He's not the wisest of dragons, however, which is how he and Thulien were convinced by young Radioactive to take him to their homeland way back when. Since the unfortunate incident with the young Imperial, Orkeck and his mate made it a mission to atone for their part in it and vowed to guard Radioactive from any and all harm from then on. They continue this mission to this day, acting as bodyguards for the now Clan Leader whenever his brother isn't around to keep an eye on him. Orkeck can sometimes get a little too protective though, but Thulien is always around to settle him back down.

Radioactive
Clan Leader

3693831_350.png

Radioactive was born to regular members of the clan during Blazewind's (the previous Leader and Clan Founder's) reign. As a teen, he convinced the clan's two plague mirror dragons to take him on a trip to their homeland, wanting to learn more about the lands neighbouring the Windswept Plateau. So much so, that Blazewind named him the clan's new Leader after he decided to step down to take on a more Advisory/Elder role within the clan.

Dhaval
The Traveling Ghost

17049_350.png

Dhaval is almost as old as Blazewind and is seen as one of the clan's wisest Storytellers.

Orkeck
The Bodyguard

2421_350.png

Orkeck is an older member of the clan, alongside his mate and fellow plague mirror, Thulien.

As the leader, the midnight imperial acts as a liaison between the clan and various others across the Shadow and Water Flight territories. Despite being a child of the Lightweaver, Atavism is not a typical Imperial as she has become emotionally close friends or close confidants with just about every dragon and beast within the clan. She prefers to lead by example and finds herself most comfortable getting her claws dirty, whether it be in the middle of a debilitation between rival clans or on the battle field, spitting thunder and lightning at her enemies or rejuvenating her allies. As the clan leader, Atavism has built her clan to have such a reputation that various characters, of both beasts and dragons, have asked to join the clan, seeking a home for one reason or another. Members of the Serthis Beastclan are the most common refuges that the clan adopts into their fold. However, the imperial had the unfortunate luck to make a temporary nest too close to a horde of Bogsneaks and was subsequently ambushed. To her shame, she fled, trailing blood and feathers, until she collapsed at the edge of the clan's territory. To her surprise, she awakened in a den where two skydancers were conversing, but turned their attention to her when the darkly dressed male noticed she was awake. The resulting conversation was stilted and awkward with the imperial being defensive and aggressive, but the male (whom she later learned went by the name Kyryn) took it in stride and explained what had happened. Only a few minutes after she had collapsed, he and Scorpio had found her and then brought her to Rose where the imperial's life threatening wounds could be healed. The conversation finished with Rose informing the imperial that it would take more than a healing spell to mend. Kyryn offered Accursed the chance to stay with the clan until her feathers grew back and the imperial grudgingly accepted the offer. It remains a mystery as to why the Imperial chose to remain with the clan since her feathers have long returned, or even why she has never donned her helmet back on, but few dare to openly speculate... lest they be on the receiving end of one of the imperial's famous glares.
While not the oldest dragon, Atavism is the unofficial leader due to, in large part, her unwavering devotion and kindness that she bestows upon her friends and clan mates.

Either having been cast out for not being the fittest, the most cunning, or the strongest, many Serthis seek refuge or escape from their species' brutal lifestyle and find a home amongst the clan.

Toad Companion

Occasionally, Scorpio is accompanied by Nero if the piebald dragon has to travel through warring territory between dragons or beasts.

While the younger imperial swears up and down that he can't stand the older dragon's prattling it doesn't stop him from refusing to tag along whenever Atavism suggests that he should go along with Scorpio.
