Kindle continued to fervently shudder, watching as Lunarwinter got closer and closer to to blasting his companions. Overwhelmed with fear, confusion, and anxiety, he quickly forgot how he'd gotten into this predicament and why Lotus and Firefly were fighting. His cowardice left him firmly planted on the ground, but by watching he could tell that the two still upon the hybrid's body weren't going to move. At least anymore than their constant pushing and shoving in hopes to be out of range.
"G-get down! Oh, three moons - get DOWN!" He shouted, clambering clumsily up as best he could, his claws struggling to hook onto Lunar's scales. He used the belt string as best he could until he'd managed to get his claws on Firefly's tail. He nearly pulled her down, which was his first goal, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to get Lotus too by the time the blast was ready. He flung himself onto the back and pounced on the female dragons, hoping to pin them down between the spines on Lunar's back.
The hybrid's head whipped about, instead sending their sudden breath towards on of the hedges nearby. A loud sound of shattering ice, crackling and thumping boomed through the maze, perhaps shaking all three dragons even further with its might. Then came the silence as the frosty mist settled and the area was much less concealed. The hedge itself seemed to retain minor damage.
