Gloria
Gloria started to tear up. Iris was so sweet and understanding. She wiped away the tears before she saw. She continued walking until she happened upon a cave. "Look, Iris. We can stay here for a little while, and make ourselves a little home. Would you like that?" She glanced at the small dragon on her back.

Iris
Iris didn't respond immediately, because she was asleep. As she dozed, one of her wings twitched and wacked Gloria lightly in the side. She curled into a tiny ball and squeezed her eyes shut, her feathers fluttering at the gentle breeze.

Gloria
She sighed, setting Iris down in a patch of soft grass. The grass was just tall enough so that it hid the lavender skydancer. Gloria got to work on making their new home a nice one.

Iris
She stirred slightly in her sleep, but didn't entirely wake up. When she did, she didn't see Gloria. "H-Hello? Gloria?" She called, frightened.

As hidden dozed off, she dreamed of a huge, yawning cave. Inside were voices, whispering ancient tales and laughing with friends from memories. Hidden entered the cave, swirling blackness crashed her vision in the cave, so she relied on her other senses. She soon saw dragons, each one a different species; scales dull and scratched with age, claws and teeth crooked by never seeing light or being dulled. These dragons had lived in these caves all their lives and have never seen sunlight. They were much bigger than the dragons she knew. Even the fae was quite large.

Hidden had never seen these ancient elders, probably because no one wanted to go into such invisible, cramped, sharp spaces.

Hidden wandered farther into the cave, the darkness pressing closer. Piles of bones and armor and feathers were in a larger cave. All of these dragons had died, maybe to those other giants that lived in the cave. She took a closer look at a dead ridgeback, and she jumped back in fear; the ridgeback was covered in mortal wounds and vicious mauling marks, even a broken wing. But then, Hidden noticed that all of the armor and bones smelled of the fire dragons. She sighed in relief...these cave dragons were rebels, not flat-out murderers.
She smelled treasure, a very strong smell. She wandered to the back of the cave, and saw a tremendous sight; piles of gold, gems, and other precious treasures.
She tried to take a handful, but then Hidden woke up as soon as she touched the dream’s treasure...

Hidden sighed, still keeping her eyes closed. Her fever felt worse.

Marshwing

The fae just couldn't take it anymore. He ran towards Azar as he readied a magical attack. He was hopping to blind the fire general long enough to rescue Hidden. Marshwing grabbed on to Hidden's shackles but he realized that the hatchling would be much to heavy for a small fae to carry. "Hidden, Wake up, Run!" Azar was much too close for comfort. Marshwing's legs began to shake as he realized that he may be powerless to do anything.

Marshwing was trying to nudge the skydancer to wake up. Marshwing realized that if he was in danger than he should at least attempt to intimidate Azar. "Azar! ugh? You better start running if you know what's good for you!" The fae's small size wasn't helpful in this situation, but perhaps it was his fear that put him in the tightest spot of all.

Crimson saw an opportunity to sneak into the small town, and she took it. Voices were emerging as she slithered into closer to the entrance of the village--voices with intent, no soft words--and figured what must be happening here is still going on, and serious. Scampering through the outskirts of the village, Crimson tries to see what's happening without getting herself caught.

"Hm?" Azar cocked an eyebrow at the tiny Fae. "If you knew what was good for you, you'd better start running." He swept his tail out, hoping to push the Fae out of his way. Azar continued clicking, knowing that Warscar had heard and was following. His coat billowed in the gentle breeze of the earth domain. "You're much too far from your little friends, aren't you?" He held Hidden, down, letting her rest for a little while longer. "Anyways, if you truly cared about her well being, you'd leave her alone. With you rebels doing your shenanigans, she's best off killed by your antics. With us, she wouldn't even have to leave the safety net of the Empire, let alone fight."

The fae rattled the locks, but it was no use. He had never seen a mechanical device up close before. The thing unsettled his nerves. “Enough! It was you. You ordered them didn’t you!” He felt like he was beginning to boil with rage. He just didn’t beleive Azar after everything he saw.

The fae let out a tiny squeak as he was knocked away. He tumbled over the ground easily, before coming back to his feet quickly. It was fortunate that he wasn’t in a mood to cry, for now.

“You just make everyone miserable! I can’t trust you with an innocent hatchling!” Marshwing breathed in as a wall of mud rose; it threatened to smother Azar.

Still, Marshwing thought about what Azar was saying. He wondered if fighting for the hatchling would be worth it. Maybe Azar could give Hidden the safe and peaceful life the rebels never had. Marsheing shook his fear away quickly, because he had already made up his mind to fight.
