They actually started out as enemies. Hiraeth was raised by a highly renowned order of shade hunters, growing up to follow a strict set of rules. Shade was a dragon who had become tainted by the shade, but had learned to keep it under control and function normally. Hiraeth's first real order was to track Sinic down and either kill him or bring him back.
Hiraeth tracked him down easily, but when she captured him he was joking and sarcastic, and almost friendly. He escaped here before the day ended, and they began a game of catch and release for almost a year. During this time, they grew closer and by the end of it, had decided to run away from Hiraeth's order together.
Now they live hidden away and protected in my clan, they even live in a cozy little home and raise a strange [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=35094472]mirror[/url] together.

Oh Goodness! I have to say the blossoming best friendship for clan Krissroads is Taric and MissTris.
Taric came away from an oppressive clan. His Mother walks a different plane and it seems to have affected his life. When he stumbled into Krissroads Territory Miss Tris, [i]The Good Lady,[/i] found him as she does of wanderers. This lost child was notedly different. She sent him into Krissroads and their Clan Father Samen. Taric has been with them ever since. Slowly, painfully slowly coming to trust some of them as possible friends.
He has gone regularly looking for [i]The Good Lady[/i] knowing she was something different like his mother. Though not the same as she. It comforts him to speak with her. For her part having someone sensitive enough to see her without her making more effort is a gift. They've come to treasure one another.

Hine and Ronaldo train together a lot. Hine is aspiring to be a ninja and Ronaldo is... Why does he insist on fighting on the ground? Flying and making an ambush is a lot more thrilling (at least if you ask Hine). In case Hine snatches a bug pie from the cafeteria and zooms away, Ronaldo is usually the one who has to quell the angry mob - by changing the topic at random. When he voices his opinions on it to Hine, she pulls Ronaldo's own trick on him. They're both extremely effective at it.
That said, they didn't even step once into the coliseum so far. But they did have three hatchlings the other day.

Pumpkin burrows and loves the underground, whereas Prism, a prince, detests anything to do with dirt. They have an unlikely friendship but they make it work, Pumkin’s positive attitude never fails to put a smile on her best friend’s face, and Prism’s otherworldly aura fascinates her. They enjoy telling each other stories of the underground and the light flight, where Prism comes from.
They actually met when Prism was enjoying a lovely meal and Pumpkin burrowed up right underneath home! Too stunned to say anything, both of them burst out laughing instead, and they two have been great friends ever since.
