An overworked adventurer gets roped into joining a motley crew of assorted people, tiny people, cat people and elf people to save the realm from assorted Big Boy Gods summoned by desperate and sad beastfolk, and then stop a 1000 year war against huge dragons, and then kind of casually liberate two countries from oppressive rulers within the space of less than a year because that's definitely a feasible timespan.
