Upon looking into this a little bit more, it appears there is a bug related to enemy set rarity. We will be fixing this soon.
UPDATE: This should be fixed, let me know if you still encounter the issue.

Upon looking into this a little bit more, it appears there is a bug related to enemy set rarity. We will be fixing this soon.

Is there confirmation on whether level-up achievements are supposed to be "wait for it" style now? Since there are many achievements that take days to register, but in the old coliseum, I'm fairly sure achievements for reaching a certain level went off immediately.
I expect an awful lot of us were leveling up dragons with the bonus XP so I can understand if there's some delay in registering everything.

If you spam the keyboard controls fast enough to make an attack on an enemy, and you just so happen to have an effect like being frozen make you unable to move, the next turn that you can move, you will automatically use the attack you spammed and will have the turn taken up.

The idle timeout you encountered is only related to Coliseum activity! You can still do other non-Coliseum things in other tabs, that won't affect whether that timeout occurs or not.
Currently the idle timeout is 30 minutes, which was somewhat arbitrarily chosen, just to pick a value to start with. Having some sort of idle timeout helps us from keeping a bunch of abandoned battles sitting around, but it was not intended to discourage browsing forums in other tabs or anything like that.
