Thanks everyone ^^ I'm currently pushing to get the hands and tail done for a con next weekend (Leipzig Bookfair/Buchmesse) so I can show off debut the costume ^^ After that it's back to the drawing board for planing out the bodysuit and feet

Update: Paws/hands/claws/whatever xD

I canibalized a morphsuit for this project and cut off the hand parts to make gloves that attach back to the suit via velcro. The seam will later be covered by bone structures on the arms. Overall my hound is going to be more skeletal than the original, with a long raptor- or alien-like bone tail.

For the claws I used plastic bear claws which I got from amazon, chopped off the base and glued them to the gloves using contact cement (for some reason the gloves look purple under my living room lights xD)



I made bony bits out of craft foam,primed them with flexi paint,



and painted and weathered them. Ta-da! Monster Pawsies xD




Two more days to finish the tail, this is going to be a close one!
