I guess the most obvious solution would be to have a tighter range in your pairs if you don't like the results you get. ^^

I have a disaster waiting to happen, bred my remaining coatl and WC just because they were RTB and didn't have mates yet. Thankfully they only lair one egg as the previews were nasty XD lol
the range looks pretty enough but the previews were, well.... *shudders*
