Yay first skin [s]that I was happy with enough to actually post[/s] Had a couple of others in progress but scrapped those since they didn't really work out the way I wanted. So, have just this one c:

First time submitting a skin!

I call it Opal Spiral. The design is based off the Opal Cobra food item. :)

Went with the impression that Shadow is filled with mushrooms for my skin. What with bioluminescent ones one their map and that there's really not a whole lot of light for photosynthesis. Not the most trickshadow themed, but I figured it was worth a shot. That and the creepy one I had in mind never was completed.
Used three specific species and some generic gills as inspiration for her. The polypore [i]Trametes versicolor[/i] (Turkey Tail) for the wings, the asci of [i]Ascobolus[/i] for the spore filled spines, and the poisonous [i]Amanita muscaria[/i] or Fly Agaric for the main body.
(two versions for the slight changes in overall hue)

[center]I'm not dead set on the name, but I'm thinking something like "[b]Made of Magic[/b]" "[b]Crafted Magic[/b]" or "[b]Sorcerers' Aura[/b]". It is supposed to show how magic flows through the body. I also kind of hid the Shadow flight symbol in the swirls on the limbs and part of one on the face.
I used the vibrant blue because any more purple would have "dulled" it to much and the swirls would not be as prominent.

When the darkness falls, a curious parade of glowing lights can be seen wending through the shadowed woods. Where it goes, only the foolhardy and the brave know, but some say if you follow that the Circus can be found...
