After a quite draining struggle with three dragons all with Anticipate, Wintersun proved to be the last dragon standing. The name picker has not need updating - dodged an asteroid there. The firstborn is named after [url=http://relativisticballoons.blogspot.com/2016/08/solar-flares-and-why-we-care.html]BARREL[/url], where they launch balloons to try and figure out what's up with our magnetic fields, if I'm interpreting correctly. The second born is named after [url=https://map.gsfc.nasa.gov/]WMAP[/url] - I took Wilkinson from the first letter. I think a lot of textbook images of the cosmic microwave background are from WMAP. The third is named Geotail, which may be the coolest name of the three. It was also a project studying Earth's magnetic field. It's worth pointing out, mostly just to myself, that this is a collaborative project with ISAS (not Isis, hahaha) and JAXA. Need to burst the US-centric/Eurocentric bubble once in a while. Statistical coolness: breeds're split half-and-half for once. no upgrades. All female. Geotail is an XYY! Only one-third chance of her winning, but I think I'll keep her and try to breed interesting XYY out of her. I finally got a floof in this challenge! I'm thinking Toothless, Hiccup, or Fish because his dad's named Nightfury. I'm hoping just to get out of Crackle territory. Then, I will have more leeway to search for gem gened dragons because I don't mind any of the other possible genes. Seems like Barrel gives us nice purple primaries, Wilkinson some uncomfortable pink ones, and Geotail mostly neutral ones. We'll see!

Still his father pushed for him to be a warrior, to carry on the monstrous legacy. So he did, and today his nest hatched. Two beautiful babies. Pavla was ecstatic. Lyndel was cautiously optimistic. He knew his father would never forgive him if he did not test his children's strength. So he doted on them for the time he would have them, knowing that they would have to leave him like his siblings. The two eggs hatched today. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=38654599] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/386546/38654599_350.png[/img] [/url] FilteredLight, has no upgrades but has runes instead of lace. I sort of like his colours better honestly, I enjoy light runes and dark primaries. 6th generation and this is as far as they've been getting XD
