My entry! I went for an "aging machine" look, with peeling/rusting paint and scales. The leaf's colors/glow is also fading. (I'm not sure if the eyes can't have special effects in them, but I can remove them if necessary.)
"[i]Automaton Leaf Gecko[/i]" maybe. "[i]Rusting Leaf Gecko[/i]"?
