These little geckos can be found in the Arcane regions, floating around on the wind with their sail-like tails or clinging to the palest trees they can find.

The Star-eyed Pangolin
These magical pangolins can be identified by their unique eyes. Due to several unidentified mutations, their eyes have come to look like the night sky-- hence their name. Unfortunately, this mystical look comes at the price of their eyesight which varies between each individual, but has never been recorded to be above 15%.
Another identifiable feature of these pangolins are the stripes of gilded plating that run from head to tail. Each individual has a slightly different arrangement. The purpose of these plates is not currently known, but it has been speculated that the gold along these plates help conduct their magical energies and allows them to identify each other.
I couldnt resist adding a couple of paragraphs lol. And as a side note, the eyes were inspired by Zeus the owl.

Obvious choice for what I was going to pick! An equally easy name would be Ringneck Cockatrice. Alternatives could be Firebelly Cockatrice, Lily Cockatrice, Ember Cockatrice, Furnace Cockatrice.
