Skins and Accents

So many wonderful entries! I can't wait for the Carnivale so that I can start collecting them! =) I found out how addictive custom skins are, so I'll probably make one or two more before the deadline. [u][b]Entry #1 - Desert Paladin[/b][/u] [img]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/T-O-C/Artwork/Dragons/desert-paladin.png[/img] - Colors pulled from Stormcatcher and the Tempest Spire. The concept was a warrior of the Lightning Flight, so brimming with electrical energy that it's shining out through her breastplates. ---------- [u][b]Entry #2 - Electrophorus[/b][/u] [img]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/T-O-C/Artwork/Dragons/electrophorus.png[/img] - Overall color scheme based on the Electric Eel, a knifefish of the genus Electrophorus. With a little added flair around the frills, of course. ---------- [u][b]Entry #3 - Storm Captain[/b][/u] [img]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/T-O-C/Artwork/Dragons/storm-captain.png[/img] - A male counterpart to Entry #1. I tried to refine the initial concept a bit more; this one is a more stormy/lightning-themed dragon, as opposed to the female's desert basis. ~ Azophel

It was based off of lightning, however I realized I needed to add some of the other theme "Shifting Expanse" into it. So I looked into what types of animals/insects/etc were found here. The firefly was one of them. ;) Third Entry (Desert Storm): [img]http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af81/BlackendWings/skin_guardian_m_dragoncolored_zps916d57e8.png[/img] My third entry was to be totally based on the "Shifting Expanse" theme, aka a Desert theme. So the wings are the sky and the body is the terrain.
