Hmm... Lore-wise I'd rather not label the parents I have as Solar Eaters. Your lore is creative and cool, but it's not connecting yet with the headcanon I have for them. I'm really just offering up their children who I can definitely see turning into Solar Eaters perhaps by a quirk of the fire magic in which they're born.
That said, I don't know if you want to list them as official pairs (they mix and match) or just say hey, if you want to get started, these qualify! (I'd hate to have you list them as official when I'm not calling them that.) I actually have a few for sale toward the bottom of
this post if that helps anyone out!

Personally I don't label breeding pairs as an official subspecies members, just as you said - it's like "hey, these babies qualify", but if you just don't want to see them in a pairs list as "official breeders", this is understandable, I'll just add them below as a fitting (affiliated) option!

Oh I like the Affiliated idea! I don't know how you want to portray that, but I can provide anything additional, including a graphic for my Drakery (the Sacred Fires title does link to it) or just the coding for that entire bit that showed them.

And oh, just wanted to say, that the concept you have for your quartet is absolutely incredible; the different colors of apparel look surprisingly awesome on them :O

atropo Awesome! Then yeah, I guess you can sign me up as a breeder. xD Don't have a hatchery page or anything, so I guess you could just link to my lair? I also tend to name them myself, so if that's a problem, just say so and I could leave them unnamed.
