But I don't really classify this as like clan lore, it's more like stories for a handful of characters in my lair. you can just ride one of those.” he forgot about those. he blinks and stares, dumbfounded at his own forgetful mind. on the other hand, he thought of a way to make it seem like his thought was not complete. so he adds on, just so he can avoid another stupid moment like that. “i meant like being able to look down at it on a daily basis…” he says it rather bitterly in hopes of making shida think he wasn’t quite done or was actually thinking more than just trips in the sky. he trusts that shida won’t take the bitterness too seriously. they do this all the time, overreact and whatnot, to joke around or further express themselves. shida nods slowly. good, he got it this time. and, and… there was no scowl. teojin almost lets out a sigh of relief, but that gets sidetracked by a new thought. attention now on the grass as he looks down the tall hill they sat upon, his fingers weave through the firm yet fragile blades for a bit. a doe prancing in the far distance causes teojin to seize his movements. from his view, the doe looked like a plush doll that has gained sentience. and from the doe’s view, he would seem like the doll. dolls… he never really had too many of those. he’d pretend one was a prince, another would be like a peasant or a future princess; he’d basically recreate a cliché fairytale where the prince falls in love with an unfortunate woman and she’d become the new princess. gasping quietly as his eyes light up with sudden inspiration, teojin whispers as if he was telling a fascinating secret, “what if we were apart of a kingdom…” at first, shida doesn’t react. it was a ridiculous thought; why would you dream of such a random, childish thing? dreams like these were just found in fairytales; they spawn within the youngest and the truth is usually discovered later in life. his eyes finally land on the doe in the distance, taking note of its size from where he sits. it’s small, as if you could pick it up. the sight of seeing such a large, vast field of grass was breathtaking. you could monitor almost everything in your vision, take note of disaster or fortune; it was like ruling over a kingdom and its land. it sure is beautiful… so, no wonder why teojin loves this spot so much, and no wonder why teojin suddenly had a thought like that. “…and we ruled over it?” shida asks without waiting for him to continue, finally making eye contact with him. teojin’s eyes were intrigued, curious, and his small smile just added more onto his curiosity. their contact breaks as teojin pans over back over the land below the hill, “exactly… but then that brings the question of who’s who?” he brings his knees close to him and wraps his arms around them, he hums quietly as he wonders more. the king could be someone like jeoldan or ilgo, they both can take charge of situations and he sees them as leaders. maybe they can be king and queen… teojin snickers out loud at the thought. “jeoldan and ilgo can be king and queen.” it comes out a bit garbled due to his growing laughter. shida catches on and he too starts to softly snicker at the concept. “or maybe jeoldan is a very popular prince while ilgo is some famous mechanic.. something like that…” teojin quickly adds on after their short laugh. feeling a little inspired, shida becomes intrigued. He presses for more, “and of the others?” “roo, roo, roo…” teojin clicks his tongue for a bit, “he could be like the infamous thief in the kingdom… or maybe he can be the most popular guard, hmm.” shida keeps his eyes on teojin as he rambles. what would he say about him? personally, shida doesn’t see himself as a royal figure. he isn’t fit for such a role; he’s too independent and hates pressure on him. it’s ironic though, since he’s sort of becoming a rather popular writer on a couple of social medias. “june could be the jester or bard for the royals, since he’s always there to help most of us laugh.” teojin gives up his compact position and lets his legs fall back down and he rests his hands in the grass behind him. “toujun can be a mystical dancer… or a servant who also happens to be rather stunning.” “you could be the young rebellious prince.” shida's suggestion came out before even processing the latest ideas, he didn’t intend to that, but it happened. teojin takes the suggestion into account and blinks for a couple of seconds before finally looking to him, but he’s still silently mapping out his logic. “i personally would probably be some sort of silent thief. a rogue, or perhaps an assassin.” he chuckles and nods gently, “i can see that, kind of… yeah.” teojin, however, thought of it the other way around; shida as a rebellious prince, himself as a sneaky assassin. he didn’t want to mention it, since he actually kinda likes shida’s idea too. “i mean, we all could simply be civilians who live in a kingdom. all with different jobs. jeoldan can be a farmer.” shida rambles a bit more until he notices teojin’s silence, and his words trail off. a couple seconds of silent staring pass before they erupt into laughter.
