naaw~~ well, I always wanted to take part in skin contests and now that I got myself a tablet for university I just had to.
So here's my first ever skin - for a male imperial: ;O;

it's based off the beautiful gemstones named ametrine, so I would call it Ametrimperial, but i'm sooo failing at names. Sorry :D

I didn't like how the this one came out but might as well not let the detail go to waste. Gold and celtic stone carving inspired. It doesn't look as good in 350x350 though :c

Here's my entry:

It's working title was [i]Carved[/i], but it's got no set name yet.
I wanted to go with something the looked like carved stone, but very slightly overgrown. I used celtic inspired shapes and patterns, since they've always seemed really earthy and ancient to me, but still really fluid and fun to play with.

If you're interested, it's based of [url=http://i.imgur.com/8vgqKVO.jpg]these[/url] rock formations i've seen in Western Australia, where the red colour comes from all the iron in the soil :3 (Photos are my own)
Also i'd love some feedback if it's too dark or anything... it looks completely different on each of my screens :|
