Yay! A nail thread! I just got into playing with nail polish this year and it's been super fun. Still not great at any type of nail art yet, but it is amazing what you can do with painters tape!

here), some of them are pretty daunting, but the simple ones are definitely worth a try.
Does anyone have a base coat they absolutely love? I'm trying to find a good quick-drying one as I finally got some darker colors

Yeah, you don't want to much or it gets too watery.
It's not a big deal having to clip my nails because I always have the spring season to grow them out again!

I really love OPI's natural nail base coat. It dries incredibly quickly and the brush is a nice size. I've never had issues with it getting bubbles in it, either.

My absolute favourite thing to get now is gel nails. They are so glossy and last for literally forever. The only problem is that they are pretty hard to get off and unless you have a UV lamp, you have to go to the nail salon and pay a heftier fee than doing it yourself. Oh, and they're not the best for your nails.
I usually go for a simple base coat, colour, topcoat combo for regular nail polish, although I don't do it often, usually only during school breaks. I prefer OPI and Essie. Only tried nail art a couple of times, and it's much too time consuming for me to handle.
As for actual nail care, I'm terrible at doing anything besides clipping my nails. I absolutely hate getting my cuticles trimmed back so I usually let them do their thing.

I was about to redo my tye-dye but mom took off with the blue to the shop so gotta wait and hope they dont use it all. It was a custom blend mom made almost 5 years ago so I have no idea whats in it or where to find a similar color T-T

My pinky nail ripped so I had to file the rest of them down. :'( My nails grow fast, but it still freakin' sucks every time it happens. It had been ripped for a while, but I was using nail glue to keep it together so I wouldn't have to file 'em all down. That lasted until I got all feverish last night and got frustrated at my nails and decided it was better to just get rid of the ripped part.

reinforcement stickers and use
those as a stencil.
I just bought a pack of 100 or so from walmart for a buck, and if I had a camera I'd show you because these things work so well! Just remember to apply the stickers AFTER your color and base/topcoat have completely dried, and take them off before the tip polish dries!
