And wisteria is close enough to the greyscale ranges that I might be able to breed her towards something decent. Is anybody breeding their pairs more than once? Or pairing each one with a different mate? I can't justify having dragons that I'm only going to breed once or twice for this challenge, so I have decided that after I get my ugly challenge heirs the parents will be paired with another dragon in my lair. Or maybe paired with each other forever if the babies are decent... I did a bunch of scrying this morning and found several females that I really want to breed my ugly boys to.
I really want to breed my ugly PC's hair to the mate of my ugly guardian, but I think that will basically end my plan of eventually breeding my two ugly challenge hairs together somewhere down the line.

Now I just need a mate. However, that'll have to wait until I have a bit more space. (And I'll be looking for a much uglier dragon.)
