My apologies, my friends.
Since opening the last chest, I seem to have fallen a bit under the weather, and my sister reports trouble with her recent nest. I am beginning to worry that there may be something to this curse.
Of course, for the sake of science, which is the most important thing, we must press on. I will... what is the expression.. ah yes, "take one for the team" with this curse. You all just keep up the great work, and I'm sure I'll be fine. Maybe one of these chests will contain a hint to break the curse, anyway. I'm sure whoever laid the curse would want a way to get out of it, should they themselves be the one to open the chests.

Would you mind posting a picture of the cipher key for #1 and 2, please? No matter which way I turn it, I still can't get it to come out as a real sentence. Or would that be too much of a hint for later ones?

Thanks. That explains a lot. In the version I was working from, you do both the hash diagrams first, then the X diagrams, which results in a lot of the letters being in different places from this. No wonder no angle I tried worked.

My sudden illness has not let up, but at the very least I do not appear to be growing worse. We are down to the last two chests, and they're making me a little dizzy to look at. I'm sure they'll be no challenge for you, though!
