My Lair is split into 4 clans & the few Clanless, and none of the Clans are lead by my Progen!

A coatl colony pretty much took over my clan, though the tundra founder (my progen) doesn't mind in the least - he'd rather be running the library than managing the clan. Eztli is the leader of the colony and therefore pretty much the uncontested head of my clan right now (as well as its spokesdragon and recruiter). There hasn't been much arguing over leadership since my clan is filled with scholars and craftsdragons who are uninterested in politics. xD;;

Her name is Eywa. She's the Great Mother and she's the most powerful dragon in all of Mossrock. She's tender though and she's a very caring and attentive leader, even though she's stoic.
And even though it doesn't allign with her actual growth chart, I write her as one of the largest Guardians in Sorneith. I wouldn't say THE largest, but ONE of the largest. Enormous. A behemoth. Her wings cast a loving shadow over the baking rocks of Dragonhome.
She's very bookish too. She loves to read and study!

I have lore on this. These two have taken over leadership from Corinth and Zyadral(original progens.) Both are exalted. Early on their clan had felt that it would be in their best interest to move to the Southern Icefields from Dragonhome, seeing the world around them instead of staying put. Both Corinth and Zyadral couldn't leave their home, being so firmly rooted in tradition, so they went on to serve Earthshaker for the rest of their days and allow the clan to roam as they wish.

I hatched him inside my clan and then he suddenly took the place of leader from Shadow my progen. No one knows why she backed down.

So glad someone asked this question! In my lore, my custom progen was an ineffectual leader who was thrust into a matriarch's role before she was ready, and retired after I exalted my random progen. After awhile, I realized she was just taking up space in my lair and exalted her; no regrets (I'm a monster).
Anyway, the clan now abides by a diplomatic hierarchy, with leadership being split between five dragons:

So glad someone asked this question! In my lore, my custom progen was an ineffectual leader who was thrust into a matriarch's role before she was ready, and retired after I exalted my random progen. After awhile, I realized she was just taking up space in my lair and exalted her; no regrets (I'm a monster).
Anyway, the clan now abides by a diplomatic hierarchy, with leadership being split between five dragons:
Tarentaise, commanding general and most well-respected dragon in the clan. He has family ties to previous leadership, and was voted by the rest of the clan into the position after most of his family left in a mass exalt.
