I have played Mweor before: it's basically about cats. You can breed them, find them in the wild, search for them, etc. It's pretty neat, and if you like the Warriors series, you should try it out. c;

However, they can be in a variety of colors, and even have wings. xD But hey, it has a forum so that you can roleplay with them and make a bio for yourself and the cats you have, so that's pretty neat.

I used to play Ovipets a lot... I think you have to have a facebook account, but it has plenty of species, variety, colours, and genes. The art style is pretty cute too! I think it's been slowly dying though, as people stop using facebook.

Beastkeeper is similar to this game. You play as a beast lord raising up different mythical creatures (Dragons, Unicorns, Gryphons, etc) and breed them for either colors, specific genes or to raise their Genetic Powers (They have heightened stats). The big thing I like about this game is the explore option and you get to build different buildings to help you throughout the game. The community is very very nice and giving as well!

I didn't check if others mentioned these before but Equiverse, Hokalovi, Dynasty and Furry Paws are some other animal sim games. Equiverse and Hokalovi are equine breeding games where you can focus on the usual: better genes or colors. Dynasty Sim has to be the most diverse dog breeding game I've ever played. You can choose from multitudes of dog breeds and breed them literally however you want. If you want a Doberman with a curly coat, you can breed for it. If you want a massive Chihuahua, you can breed for it. Options are literally endless with that game. And Furry Paws is another dog breeding sim (with fun mini games). You breed for the usual in it as well: good genes or specific coat colors.

Im surprised no-one said ClanHeart....VERY similar....especially the registration thing. Limited times xD yeah i dont even have a account yet....But it looks promising.... Also FeralHeart.....Same thing with registration as well so. Ill add links.

I know there is a horse sim being worked on called Mestengo, I'm afraid I don't know much about it though. But there is a Cheetah sim that you can buy an alpha account in right now I believe. Its called Acinonyx sim. There is also gone mushing which is a sled dog game.

If you have a smartphone, I recommend DragonVale. It has TONS of dragons, and new ones are constantly being added.
