Reeve was alone. It was early morning, the sun barely peeking over Castelia city's horizon. Reeve's 'home' was a shady alley she claimed as her own. It was one way, and she had built her workshop at the back, against the wall. It was nicer on the inside than the outside, mostly to keep any thieves away. Nobody wanted to steal from the rusted, shabby but in the back of an alley.
But on the inside it was a high tech workshop. Reeve had machines that could turn any scrap metal she could get her hands on into a weapon. All either stolen or bought with battling money. In the center of it all, the sparking, hot chaos, was a red haired girl covered in freckles and dirt. Her hair was cut short, jagged from the scissors she did it herself with. She wore a dark blue denims jacket, a yellow undershirt and black ripped pants. She had on heavy boots and heavy gloves, a pair of googles perched on her head.
Next to her was her partners, Deezy, an abnormally large Luxray; BadEgg, a fearsome but removed Garchomp; and lastly, Iden, a zoroark with a cunning smile always planted on her face. Puttering around on the floor somewhere was Table, a lopad who's purpose was his namesake. He carried around tools for her, and knew a few water moves to put out any fires in her workshop.
She was working hard, mostly to keep her mind off of last night. There had been several pokemon thefts, more kids and families losing their domestic pokemon partners. That worried her, upset her, and she wanted to do something. So she was hard at work on something impossible to keep her mind off of reality.

Kastinel had been making his way towards the sea, down from the mountains since his aunt had passed away just a few months prior. He had the majority of his possessions in the duffle back slung across his shoulders. In his pockets was his wallet, and two pokeballs. One of the pokeballs contained his best pal Aer, his Dratini, the other pokeball had his dad's pokemon named Apollo, he was an Alakazam.
Kastinel had grown up a semi-affluent young man, his aunt was wealthy and she was good with money, leaving him behind a nice padded bank account, but at the same time, he didn't rely on that money as he traveled down out of the mountains. He preferred to think of his travels as a Pokemon adventure of old, something his parents would have been proud of him for doing.
It was in the mountains that he met many wild Pokemon, he got to cuddle up with a family of Bidoofs, he got to tweet at some Pidgeys, and go racing through a field with some Ponytas. It was with sadness as he walked towards Castelia City that he realized he would have to keep his Pokemon hidden to prevent them getting taken from him. He hated the cities, but he really needed supplies.
Kastinel easily passed through the checkpoints at the entrance to the city, no one expected him to have Pokemon, and if anyone poked a little closer, he offered a few pokedollars to make his passage a little more smooth. He passed by a shady alley that looked curious, tripping over a large trash can as he was rubbernecking at the alley, causing a large mess and large amount of noise.
