I don't play Furvilla and I assume FD is some kind of currency there.
So, I don't know how much is worth G to FD.
To get Gems in FR though, you have to sell your things in AH or Forums for Gems or have Treasure to convert for Gems.
The Gem ratio varies between @ 1:800 up to 1:880 currently.
Low ratio is better for Treasure buyers.
High ratio is better for Gem sellers.
Respectively loss when being swapped.
