For example, make white text on black background? Would be super useful for my hatchery, as I'm trying to put color names in their right colors and some just turn out invisible (:

colored backgrounds do not work - if you specifically want black then you could use spoiler codes, just note that the color code is INSIDE the spoiler one, I don't think it works the other way around
if you want anything colored then you're gonna have to figure something out on your own with images

As far as your question goes post a color code on the text you want to show up:
