TOPIC | Previewing children of a scry
Is there a way to preview how a dragon's children will look while using a scry? I was thinking of changing a primary gene for one of my breeding pairs, but I don't know how that will effect their hatchlings.

There's currently no way to preview the offspring of non-existent dragons, but you might look for existing dragons in Dragon Search that match your gene plan. If there are any with the right colors and all your planned genes, you can use them in Foresee Progeny as a free hatchling preview, even if they're exalted.

If there's no suitable match, the only answer that I know of is to manually play in Predict Morphology with their color range. Off-site planning tools like JiYou's tools can't generate hatchling images, though they can display the full color range and gene odds if you want an easier reference.

No, I'm afraid not. At best you can find an identical dragon to your scry and use that id number or you can use the scrying workshop to change the gene to that as you input the variables for the colors/breeds.

edit: ninja'd!

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
