I'm trying to breed to a specific set of xyz colors, and I'd like to be able to tell which of my hatchlings is 'closest'--is there an easy way to sum up all three distances on the color wheel? For example, if I'm trying to breed a red/yellow/green dragon, am I closer with a white/black/grey, or with a mulberry/mint/mauve? There should be a way to get a number, like 59 vs 65 away.
(I could probably kludge something together if there's a numbered list of colors out there, but I wonder if someone has invented this wheel already)

This site is good for visual prediction between colors

The
colors page on the flight rising wiki has numbers for all the colors that might help. You'll want to multiply all the distances for each color range, not add them, because the math for probability based on multiple chances involves multiplication.
Or you can just use
this breeding calculator. It's missing a couple of genes, but it should work fine for colors.

Thanks, I'll probably end up using the the wiki site. The breeding calculator looks interesting, but I can't see how to use it with only one dragon.

To use the breeding calculator that way:
Put in your "ideal" color combo in both Parent 1 and Desired Hatchling along with each hatchling combo in Parent 2. Hit Calculate and the hatchling with the highest number wins.
