I used to link images from Deviantart stash without dramas. But it's been a while since I last did so, and now I'm having problems - I cannot seem to get an image link which works? Does anyone familiar with DA Stash know if they changed something to stop Stash being an image dump? (Or maybe I am just doing something wrong?)
Here is the page with the image in question (it's a PNG of one of my dragons in an outfit):

When I right-click and "copy image location", or even "view image" and look at the URL, I get some long URL that doesn't even have the ".PNG" bit in it.
Any help is welcome :3

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.
Have you checked the
Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in
5g?

Just as a heads up, while the information that Anourou has compiled is correct - sometimes neither solution works, unfortunately.
There's a bit more information in this thread:

But you can see that even the examples of some of the methods that used to work are now broken images again.
So it seems that
Sta.sh is occasionally updating the URL's (or they have since the fixes were discovered) so that sometimes your only option is to re-host the piece.

AlphaSobek thanks for the extra info; yeah unfortunately neither solution worked for me, I think I'll just have to make myself a new image host. I can undertand why DA wouldn't want stash to become another photobucket :'D oh well, it was good while it lasted.
